I'm brand new to Dust and was hoping to find a solid crew to roll with when the servers come back online. I can hold my own in the world of FPS's but after watching a few hours of noob starter vids on youtube it's become obvious that this is a bit of a different beast than the Battlefield's and Rainbow 6's of the world.
If there are any vets that would be down with dragging a rookie into the fray I would be psyched.
I come with a mic if that helps.

DESTRO, I'd be glad to help out. I have no idea when the servers are coming back online (I haven't accurately 'decoded' the time zones. I'm guessing 10:30AM EST...), but when they do, after I'm done speccing into some fun stuff, I'd be glad to help with anything you need, and play a match or two with you. :D
I can't confirm I'll be on at all though, as I have a busy day ahead of me (Darn it. D:), but when I have the chance, I'll absolutely help you. :) |

Ok, well. When I'm on, I could probably mail you some Tip N' Tricks that I learned while playing. Like... Never aim with a Shotgun. Or... LAVs are for driving, not for exploding... That one took me a while to learn. |

If you are going to try to run with Artificer Ghost I would suggest joining his Corp. It is a training Corp geared to helping new players. I am sure they would love to get someone with a good gun game, and would be happy to help you figure out the complexities of skills and fittings. I understand they have a good library of guides as well.
The same is true of DUST University, but Artificer got to you first.  |

Yea, I'd suggest joining 'Bojos School Of The Trades' or 'DUST University'. They/We're doing some great stuff. I run with good people on (almost) a daily basis. I'd suggest checking out both, in the 'Corporation Recruitment' section for more info. I can't quite remember the 'Principal' of DUST University, but if you feel like 'BSoTT' would help you more, you can also in-game message our CEO: 'Bojo The Mighty'.
