I wonder whether not they will hit where you aim when in a moving vehicle. They are so unpredictable it was almost to the point it was useless to use them cause its a pure luck shot to hit anything with them unless you are sitting still but then your just an easy target.. IMO missiles are a fail small turret would love to see them fixed in the next build as i might actually would use them |

In EVE missiles are pretty sweet turrets its a shame they were so badly nerfed in Chormosome. |

there have been background ninja updates to help with this but small missiles are getting a buff so they have a larger splash range.. I think it might be more the large missiles. |

yea i wasnt really referring to the damage and splash however it was nerfed pretty hard and supposed to be getting some kind of buff... i was just refering to the precision of the turret.... while moving at speeds the direction of the missile doesnt hit the target.... i didnt notice it with large turrets but for the past year it has been the same way so i am assuming it will be the same once again |

I've seen tons of vehicles own with proto missiles, I don't know why people don't use them more often. The only thing that really counts against them is the terrain glitch eating up the splash damage. |

I hope not I wouldnt mind if the missiles themselves flew unpredictably its just the impossible nature of them to aim while moving since they spin off at very odd angles. |

if you are sitting still they go exactly where you aim... but the slightest movement will alter the path dramatically |

I'm not exactly sure where I remembered reading this but moving vehicles are supposed to have weapon accuracy penalties just like how all the hand held weapons get more spread while moving. Best thing to really do is drive slower or go to a full stop. Part of that Dust Logic. |

Its one of the reasons I am not planning on Tanks anymore. Not worth it. Too much SP, we will see about the ISK and half the equipment doesn't work. Easy decision, actually. The new tanks look liked they will be much easier to kill. More points to be had for less cost killing tanks versus tanking. |

This goes to any thing you put a small missile turret on. I notice it was the same with small railguns as well. Blasters however work very good |

why would anyone think that its a good idea to put precision penaltys on moving vehicles? it's allready hard enough to aim while the driver is jumping over every damn hill....

Which is absolutely stupid. I can't tell if this is an oversight or a game mechanic, but it needs to be addressed.
Other than their abysmal accuracy when fired from a moving vehicle, small missiles own and I don't see a reason to buff them too much. Large missiles on the other hand are complete garbage and barely out range blasters. |

People who were at Fanfest have said that yes, Missile Turrets now fire where you aim them, instead of being influenced by the movement and rotation of the vehicle. |

For Dust 514 to be inspired by a bunch of devs probably sitting around and playing Halo, you'd think the LAV and LAV combat would be one of the things they'd get right on the first try. |
