The EvE forums have an entire forum dedicated to the backstory of the game - now that some DUST 514 players are picking up on the backstory, shouldn't there be a similar forum here?
I'm seeing lots of posts bringing up backstory now, and news is almost always reported in general discussion and talked about in a similar way to what we see in the Intergalactic Summit forum. |

It isn't backstory. Backstory is what happened before the game's events. The Intergalactic Summit is just roleplaying, plain and simple. Doesn't matter what kind. Recent occurings, past events, future speculations, etc.

That being said, I support this idea.
It works into the backstory though. 
I feel there should be some place to vent the more RPish tendencies other than the odd thread in GD, which quickly gets drowned by tears. |

lore (or something like that)
and
Intergalatic summit
lore is for lore discussion (ooc)
and intergalatic summit is purely rp |

What you are talking about is EVE Fiction, a place where people can discuss the lore and write their own fiction regarding the New Eden universe aswell.
But yes, since I already posted a thread of my own here suggesting an equivalent of IGS for us Dusters, I decided to bump this one and support this idea, we seriously need a place to satisfy our RP needs! |
