I really hope this is incorrect, but do we need to have
Dropsuit Command lvl 5
Racial Medium Dropsuits lvl 5
Racial Logistics Dropsuit lvl 1
to even be able to use a STD Logistics suit?! If this is true it will take new players several months of playtime to become a LogiBro.  |

First thing first, AFAIK, we don't really know the stats on the basic medium frame suits. I'm hoping some have at least 2 equipment slots. if so, then it would be nice to have the regular xk.0 suits be some form of "hybrid" between assault and logi. Not quite as good as either, and no racial/class bonuses, but the ability to play with it how you like. I think that would be great! |

Well, looking at the rest of the stats Basic proto and Assault proto are absolutely identical. So, I'd say it is very unlikely that the Basic variants have more equipment slots than the Assault variants. |

from what i understand; that frame suit takes ~ 1.8M SP . That gives you your proto suit. The specific racial suit (for bonus) is a 10x. It isn't a new suit; it simply adds a bonus onto your current suit.
Ex: Caldari Logi lv5
Its bonus is 5% efficacy of shield extenders. So at lv5, your shield extenders (if still 66), on THIS dropsuit alone will go from 66hp to 82hp
Hope that helps. All in all, its ~5M SP for a maxed out racial bonus suit |

I think it was Iron Wolf Saber who pointed out in his thread asking why people were ignoring the "basic" suits, that all of the non-logi suits only have 1 equipment slots.
Suit stats are identical between:
Heavy Frame AND Sentinel
Medium Frame AND Assault
Light Frame AND Scout
Identical in every stat we've seen anyway, so equipment slots seems likely too. If there's a basic route to Logistics, we haven't been shown it yet.
There's several market items mentioning logistics (including a militia one), those include Valor, Oblivion, Raven, Fossil, Hazard, and Neo. We already know Neo is about Aurum skill-jumping. Raven "was" an assault BPO option. Maybe some of those give you logistics access without the racial variant skill, I would "hope" that they're not going to require Aurum for you to get logistics access.
As an additional note, every logistics option I mentioned (Oblivion, etc.) is listed as Minmatar frame. |

We don't know yet that the frame suits have the same slots and equipment as the racial specialty suits and that makes a huge difference, especially for logi's. We'll know for sure in little over a day. |

Good question. I just watched a youtube video that highlighted the pre-requisites for the Assault xk.0 suits, and they were:
Dropsuit Command I
X Medium Frame Dropsuit Operation V
X Assault Dropsuit Operation V
.. but whether you need Medium Frame operation V before you can get the specialisation dropsuit 1 is another question.... |

it would be interesting if you only needed lvl 1 in racial medium to get lvl 1 in logi or assault. And lvl 3 for lvl 3, etc. |

It might be interesting if you have to train the relevant Medium Frame skill in conjunction with the Assault specialisation, so you only need level 1 Medium to reach level 1 Assault, but you have to skill to level 5 in Medium Frame before you can max out the Assault suit. |
