Once upon a time, there was this game. In this game, there was a persistent world. This was a FPS game, with lots of specializations, vehicles, suits, and the like. In this game, there were 2 currencies. One was in game, and the other could be bought out. In this game, there was a booster which gave you 50% increased points, to allow you to progress faster.
However, in this game, the developers wanted to make more money. So said developers, decided to make things take longer to progress into.
After days and days of grinding, the players were done with having the same experience. After all, shooting the same gun for weeks isn't fun, now is it?
And so they left.
Do you want to know what game that is?

Funny thing, to experiment a little bit, i, that dedicated all my points in snipping and logistics, bought with sp passively adquired from yesterday, plus a little active ones from today, skills to use a Forge Gun, Nova Knife and Mass driver.
Of course they-¦re not prototype, they-¦re just the basic ones, but i had a lot of fun trying them out with one day worth of skills.
Amazing the possibilities i have with a few SP invested, right?
It-¦s like i-¦ll never run out of options and new things in this game.

Planetside 2 locks you out from even having a weaker version of the better functional-wise weapons for 1000 cert points. Most of dust 514's suits and weapons are accessed within a week of play even if they're weaker. |

If you dont use a vehicle in PS2 you are playing it wrong anyways. But it is definitely P2W lol
This SP increase isnt all for the bad. What DUST will have that PS2 doesnt is a platform to expand on. EvE doesnt have all the skills they have now on day 1. Dust will gain more everything in time. |

Would you have done this if there wasn't a respec coming up?
Also, thanks for proving my point, with the increased sp usage, you have less SP to spend on non-core skills. Anything you care to add? |

Of course!
I spent my SP on core skills precisely so whenever i chose to try thing out, i would be "Ok" with them.
If i don-¦t like the stuff, well, it-¦s a day-¦s worth of SP, i can live with MY CHOICES.
What would be your point, in Dust we can choose our stuff and get them quick, while specializing takes time?
Yep, that-¦s the game i joined and expected. |
