How can CCP admit that the wording From the merc pac requires them to offer Full refund at commercial realese. however by doing that we take everything else you have earned in game I.e SP without boosters, isk, salvage.
How can anyone think this is a good precedent for a company to do business? Yes you supported us in the beta, yes we will honor or agreement cause we know we have too, but to take advantage of it you have to be punished back to 0 everything. Hahahahahahahaha take that you stupid players for holding us to our legal obligation and supporting this game with your money. How can anyone accept this rationale whether you purchased a merc pack or not?
Gamestop merc pack disclaimer which still uses the old one:
*IMPORTANT NOTICE: During beta periods, CCP may need to reset characters, skills and other items included in the DUST 514-« GameStop Mercenary Pack. DUST 514-« GameStop Mercenary Pack will be credited in full to your in-game DUST 514-« account after each character reset and for the commercial release. CCP cannot guarantee all items will be identical and reserves the right to substitute items of similar value. No other form of refund is permitted. |

It was assumed there would be a reset upon release. When that was decided against, you simply wanted to take advantage of the situation.
So go ahead and get your refund. CCP is more than willing to give it to you. You'll just have to abide by your end of the bargain and get your character reset. It's not a punishment, it's just the agreement. |

Everyone should be reset then. Why give a disatvantage those who paid money and ccp agrees by their terms they have to give it back? |

I was in agreement with everyone who had merc packs that we got screwed over, but after looking at it that way, they did follow their own rules, it was never said that there would have to be a full game reset at commercial release, and to everyone who bought a merc pack, c'mon be honest it's not like you didn't use the aurum to your benefit, we used the merc pack and got ahead of others by using it |

So you are saying that you would rather everyone be reset just so that CCP honors its original agreement? That is just a big middle finger to everyone, even the people that got the merc pack |

Im happy at having 11mil SP and all my stuff, i used that merc pack to get to where i am today in SP/ISK and items
If i want my merc pack back i should get reset because how does CCP know how much SP and ISK and items i got when i used the booster and AUR to buy more boosters? they dont
So you get reset and start at 0

Its funny how the thought of your character having to be reset to please those that want their merc pac refunded as agreed by ccp, upsets you?
How about everyone that purchased a merc pack can keep there sp and those that haven't paid a dime for this game have to be reset to 0 at commercial release, FAIR? |

So let me get this straight: You bought merc pack and used your aurum to gain advantage in game and played it for couple of months. Now they give you 2 options 1- reset your account and get your aurum back. 2- don't reset your account, keep everything you earned (including any remaining aurum) for uprising.
Now you complain that you don't get your aurum back that you spent to earn more sp.
Its simply amazing that people complain that they can't get back 20 dollars that they spent on f2p game that they played for months and got more then moneys worth.
Talk about entitlement...

If nothing else this is a great lesson in not getting swept up in viral forum nonsense. You decided based on a fuzzy interpretation of a single sentence (and zero official confirmation) that you knew exactly what CCP was planning, and some of you went so far as to try and take advantage of that. Coincidentally, the ones now vomiting all over the forum. The fix wasn't really a fix at all, so now a console game developer is bullying you. School must have been a tough time for some of you.
Anyway, you'd best petition them to wipe the forums while you're there because all this embarrassment is one name search away for your future space employer. |

Explain to me how this statement makes me wrong? I bought something that said I would get it again at full release! Not oh by the way you will also have all of your items removed to 0 it doesn't say that in the agreement . Those that were smart enough to see the value to pay money in a beta n test thing out knowing we got everything back at comercialnrelease was part of the selling feature.

I see you argument but it states character reset in there. You could of send email to them to be more clear in their terms. It might not given you details but its your responsibility that you accept it. Nobody forced you to buy it. No reason to cry for it.

The merc pack is still fully credited to your account. You've kept all the Aurum you haven't spent (and the Aurum that will be reimbursed on the reset) and you are keeping all of the merc pack items.
"Fully credited" is not code for "Here's a free one." It means you have it, and if you bought the merc pack you will still have the items and AUR you purchased, therefore it is still fully credited to your account. |
