It only has 60 rounds when the HMG has 435? wtf?? that is NOT fit for an assult suit. The assult riffle should have at least twice as many rounds as it is no less than twice as good as the next contender. Even twice is barely sufficent |

I don't have any LW SS and I'm raking in the kills with the AR faster than I ever did with the HMG.

yeah on COD it only takes 4 shots to kill someone, if ya gonna copy cat a game at least do it properly. Maybe we should all start as assault with AR's and as the squad earns WP we gain access to tanks or gunships! |

No, but that isn't a direct AR nerf.
Weaponry and SS affect all weapons (Except for SS on MDs)
There needs to be a direct AR nerf, adding more recoil and giving less damage at its max range seems about right. |

No dont see this is about making the AR better not nerfing it! The AR guys arnt openly admitting its easy mode yet we gotta make it better im sure CCP will agree its not good enough. I mean, they thought heavys, tanks and scouts were too good. seems ligit |

I'll admit the Assault suits were, by far, the weakest loadouts in Dust prior to whatever gets changed today. With everything equipped they are still super expensive and compared to their heavy/logi counterparts just weren't as good. (Well the proto suit with 2 support and 2 weapon slots were as good but the rest werent).
The rifles themselves seemed ok to me though.
Then there are the weapons like the Visium laser rifle with its obvious issue....although not letting it warm up to full power like that until after its locked on someone should help. |

People need to try being more honest, in the last build when this post was made the HMG was WAY superior to the AR, now with the damage buff after the nerf from uprising going live the other day the HMG is in balance with the AR moreso than ever before.
Sounds to me like most of the people in here just don't really use the AR and are doing just what the assault people do, crying for a nerf to a gun they don't use.......dumb on both accounts.
Instead of calling for a nerf for another class why not ask for a buff for your class instead? |
