Your behaviour around this thread ill fits the argument you're putting forward here.
You say that you had phone conversations with him in which he was drunk.
You also say to your members on your forum: "if it was him using an alt account we'd never know for sure".
You'd never know for sure despite having conversations with him? It seems much more probable that this was a failed smear attempt which, for some reason, you're not being straight up with your members about. IMO, if this is the case, good leadership would privately acknowledge the error rather than allowing members to see incompetence followed by shame and further dishonesty. |
