First, I use the heavy, but not too often. Second nothing has been nerfed because it isn't reality yet, and when it is, there will also be a whole host of other changes which will provide context that isn't clear yet.
I do use bunch of other stuff that, based on the patch notes, won't be as effective after Uprising, but I'm going to actually try it out before I cry like a four year old on the forums.
How about you man up and actually test it out as well. |

Saying the HMG nerf was overkill wasn't crying. Nerfing range and dmg was too much. Nerfing either one was meh, but nerfing both the same time was stupid.
I've read the notes and it's far from reality. Reality is when something is real, like when you can try it. Not one of you whiners has stated any facts.
So, let's comment on the notes a bit.
No hard numbers listed for nerfs on range or dps, so we don't know if this is a 1% nerf or a 50% nerf. Cost of all heavy equipment will be going down, probably by a lot. Costs of ARs etc, may be going up. Who knows. We do know that the costs of weapon tiers are supposed to be equivalent, so go look at the market prices and see what a difference that makes.
We also know that SS is going away, which will make it harder to outrange the HMG even though it will be getting, an unspecified, additional nerf.
Also, the notes don't specify things like the viziam nerf, the change to slot layouts on all suits, so the overall context under which this change to the HMG is taken place will likely be significantly different that the current situation.
This is the issue. None of you know if this is really even a nerf given all the other changes, so testing is the only logical thing to do.
Your forum crying, yes crying, is just the lament of schoolchildren until we see the facts. |
