It's a spring loaded cartridge that you have to wind manually. That's why it rotates automatically after firing each time. |

Many Minmatar weapons still work after emp pulse, lots of mechanical rather then scifi tech in there mechanisms. |

So in theory it could jam or break entirely from time to time. Ex if you fire to fast. Laser rifle can overheat and kill you. Mass driver could jam. Forcing user to reload for unstucking. Or explode jammed grenade in barrel. Killing user... Naah... |

Why can't any gun just reload when the clip is put into the gun, and we can save 0.3 seconds by not having to wait for the gun to be put down, i'm good with firing from my head. |

The MD is minmatar technology. It's designed to use the lowest tech materials possible. I mean they use ceramics.....ceramics!! in their ships and weapons. They still use chemical charges for all their weaponry needs for crying out loud. They really should throw down arms, self destruct all their fission using scrapheaps of ships. Blow up their fossil fuel running vehicles, what ones they do use. They still use beast of burden to carry themselves around most of time. And after all that is said and done they should then apologize for the uprising and turn themselves back towards the fold of God and let Amarr lead them on the path once more. |
