ok went to fanfest , and wow loved it all , the locals probably think were mad but they were good natured and definitely thinking of going back next year , great event CCP.

Ok down to the subject of this post there was a lot of talk about dust and the dust part of the name with a lovely unfinished tv add , great visuals , however the 514 part no one would talk about or even hint at , so I have done a little digging and here is one possible explination , feel free to add your own and lets see who gets it right in the end !

We were told at fest that the dust part was part of this we came from dust and we return to dust etc. ( nice vid by the way
) , but folks got all quiet about what the 514 stood for , after some research I have figured out one possibility , 514 is a type of aluminium , one used in sand casting , now this on its own means nothing , but when we take into account that Iceland has built three new aluminium smelting plants recently helped by the abundant cheep energy they have there and than we look at this particular alloy's main purpose , sand casting ... sand box maybe ..... able to make anything in it ... it seems a little too coincidental add this to when the film was shown there was a definite pictorial reference to some form of mineral / material and then the mention of the base of a statue was also going to be made from aluminium.
Ok this has nothing to game backstory wise , but then this is the company that took their native currency and used it for the game , so not so far fetched that they might slip in a reference to their own countries new industrial prosperity.

Ok this is one idea , be interesting to see what others people come up with , and im sure the devs will get a giggle or even go 'oh **** ' if we get the right one !

Well others say 514 is for the month of may- the 5th month- and the 14th day that dust 514 will be released- making it 514 get it - 5th month- the 14th day of the 5th month- and dust is finally being released on the 14- hint 514 dust 514 Bang Bang
