Not only faction warfare, but most instant battles. What I mean is that every death is kind of like a bid and a gamble. Depending on what is on the table you can check/hold, raise, or fold.
You check if you don't know really what the other team is fielding or what their talent level is. Checking is pulling out a suit or fit that isn't worth your maximum. It is a minimal 'bet' on possible progress.
You raise if you think what you are 'reading' from other players is that you have the advantage. There could certainly be bluffs being played. Just because others have protogear or vehicles on the field doesn't mean that they are great. Just because they are rolling standard fits doesn't mean the opposite. Bluffs could work to get YOUR chips on the table you wouldn't other wise, or NOT get you to put yours up.
You would fold when it becomes clear that the hand you dealt just will not let you win.
This is a simplification, but the players that make isk are the ones who aren't only skilled at the in game FPS mechanics, but the art of knowing when to check, raise, and fold. |

Depends tho
You may dominate on the field but if they have an OB in EVE your ****** so you would lose your expenisve stuff
So really Minmatar and Gallente will most likely hold the sky since they tend to have more numbers and do blob when need to, the bad news that anyone fighting for Caldari and Amarr will not have OB support most likely |

I've been with Minmatar FW recently and have seen tons of Amarr blobs. I don't know who you are with? |

Back in the day i was Minmatar
Things may have changed but i do remeber stupid stuff like 15v15 or close about and instead of going to fight we would end up getting more and more ppl to the point where it ended up 30vs15 or less because amarr just went '**** this' and logged off because they couldnt get any gd fights
That and also off grid boosters because they cannot 1v1 effectively
It happens on all sides but normally happens on the winning side due to more members so they just take over space |

Factional Warfare will be beast. Whenever you aren't fighting for your corp, run a full 16 man team in FW....so beautiful. |
