I guess it makes sense if you think all the kills with sketchy mechanics should be wiped, that Skirmish needs to be counted, or quirks like loading into defeat screens might skew stats. Somehow I doubt everything will be bug-free after uprising though, so I'm not sure that it matters. |

i would be very okay with a stats reset, starting with 0 stats and almost 10m sp i'll be able to maintain 10.0 easily |

Yeah I'm close to my 11.0 atm and would like to see how high I would be without getting beatdown when I started 500k vs 3m sp. |

I know CCP said during Fanfest that they were working on a way to help against stat padding, so I imagine that once that is working, they may do a stat wipe, on the other, for the very reasons that you guys mentioned about having more SP than nubs, they may not. |

Too lazy to find the quote where it was suggested, through context clue interpretation, that a wipe may be necessary for new stat (tracking?) system. You know CCP isn't confirming anything but release date.
In the case of a wipe, does anybody think ChicgoCubs4Ever will hold #1 again? (If tanks continue to dominate most pubs I could easily see the top 5 being all HAV pilots. Unless it goes to the ISK W/L system. Or, the more merc rating relative WP/D)

tanks aren't guaranteed to outscore infantry. If the enemy team has good av, calling in a tank is actually making it easier for your infantry to get kills/ |

I would prefer it to be wiped.
There are hundreds of thousands of kills that were generated with weapons that no longer exist. The current versions are significantly less effective but they are being replace along with the current Skill Tree next week. How would anybody have a chance at even getting on the top 1000 starting next week? Not to mention that myself and many others have lost thousands of kills with the Skirmish Stats Bug, which is fixed in Uprising.
I am not addicted to Kills nor KD/R but War Points are the basis of DUST and I have lost over a hundred thousand WP from the same bug. The Leader Boards reflect nothing accurately about the game today. WP should be an accurate reflection of what Corps and individuals are doing relative to each other. Now, none of the stats mean anything.
The May 14th release would provide the perfect time to do it, if that is an actual Release. Or May 6th as an alternative.
It might provide the opportunity to clean up some of the sillier high Kill Ratios place holders. |

Not guaranteed. But the scoreboard is almost always topped by tanks. Logis and HMGs fill out top 5 in most matches.

I wouldn't be surprised if a wipe is needed given the amount of stats CCP will be adding like weapon used, KDR over time, types of kills or WP gains, etc. But I also don't mind keeping the the board as is despite the fact that I'm not even on the leaderboard. |

iirc the top two players on the board for kills dont pilot HAV's so that argument is invalid. But they do find it easier to have higher K/D's. |

Tears huh? How about separate leaderboards (or distinguishing marks) for kb/m and ds3. or just tell me who's using which, both, etc. |

Honestly a leaderboard wipe every once and a while is a good thing for games. Keeps things fresh, and its always fun to watch the fights over the top spot after each wipe, however there should also be an all time leaderboard that is never wiped. |
