In the video below I go over some of my opinion and advice as how players may need to use their SP in the upcoming Uprising, and all opinions and advice is welcome. I am not the most seasoned of vets on Dust, but hopefully you do not fall for the flavor of the week or month sp traps that will be set for you on day one and the days that follow. It is a must in my opinion that players do not skill into new weapons heavily until the balance is created or it may be wasted sp. In the video you will hear my thoughts on the frustration that will come from day one 6-10 million sp investors that own on the battle field which will make many join the same path, remember patience is virtue, and its ok to not let the sp burn a hole in you're pocket.

I dont even want to start planning til after the 14th, just to see the lay of the land. Pretty sure anything that would apply to the flaylock is a safe |

I know what I'm going to do - roll Gallente assault immediately. I'll save a couple mil, but the majority of my SP is going into it. Your advice is probably good, but I'm so keen on getting into a proper armour assault that I'm going that way. |

I believe in proper, as I will spec under the same guidelines. |

Yeah, I plan on giving everything a good look over before doing anything. The core skills that apply regardless of what fit you roll with are a safe bet though. I'm thinking a lot of people will be using using the scrambler rifle and an armor focused suit so chances are I won't even touch the scrambler rifle but will probably run an armor suit myself. However I think I will wait a week or two after the 14th to see what suits and weapons people actually use though before I drop any points in a suit. |
