A day ago, I was in a match against some guys pulling out extremely expensive gear. I'm talking Balac's, Krins, Boundless HMG's, and protosuits everywhere.
I myself was in a Scout A-Series with a simple Exile and for my secondary, the Carthum Scrambler Pistol. I was just running around, when suddenly, a protosuit Assault came at me. This guy had a Balac, complex shields and everything. I turned and ran.
Straight into a Proto Heavy.
I knew I'd die. But I still ran sideways into a dead end box. I turned. And waited. An Assault head popped in, I panicked, and shot 3 shots into him, one hit his head, and he was done.
Next, the Heavy popped up on my radar, he was getting close. I looked at my map, he was just around the corner, so I sprinted, fast and got past him just as he turned.
His HMG spun up, streaming bullets out. I saw it turning for me, and I stood still, and aimed in.
1,2,3.
3 shots to the head, and he was out.
I walked to the body.
I kneeled over him, and two words could be heard over the gunshots.
"GG, Scrub" |

I started out with 170 lol... then lost about 50 -.-
The damage I put out with the pistol is just insane with the stuff I put on it. |

News! Scrambler pistols are complete (I mean complete) frucking trash. Use them proto shottys and mass drivers. They are worth more of an investment. |

Nothing wrong with talking about Scrambler Pistols, guys. The headshot bonus does NOT overpower the fact that the gun still sucks to shoot with. Those 11 semi-auto shots aren't worth anything if you don't land them at or near the head, before needing to reload. Even more worthless if it's going up against defense tankers.
Trust me. Using this gun is HARD mode. You actually have to try with it. |

I can fit everything on my suit and tank better than Caldari Assault so you must be using some wrong modules or equipment :P |

I just tried scram pistols. I used 2 level 3 pistol with a level 1 scout suite. I was able to **** in academy but was just only able to hold myself in the real world. Only played him for a few hours. Going to recreate as a flaylock user. |

You do know that this was pre-Uprising right? Where you could aim more easily and actually get kills like these?

Basically they are the exact opposite of the Flaylock - yes powerful, but they actually require skill to use. Even the basic (Breach?) scrambler pistol is a bit of a beast. Lots of hitting power though a slower fire rate. |
