So when the game releases, why should we have all of these topics about how the old system was?
This way we can have fresh, new ideas and discussions that only involve the uprising build.
Note: Not everything in the forums should be deleted, but probably at least 95% of it. Anything that is really important should stay here, but not having almost 50k threads would be nice. Thanks. |

There isn't really much point in doing it. There's some good stuff on here, helpful stuff too. You say that threads can be removed selectively - it is a ridiculously huge task reading through 50,000 threads, some with dozens of posts, and deciding that they can be kept.

Relevant threads will stay, irrelevant threads will go inactive or become locked. What you forget is that a massive portion of those 50,000 threads are actually currently locked, and are only there as archives. I wouldn't mind if all locked threads were removed, but some may. |

Actually, every thread that's here has already been deemed relevant. There are SOME redundant threads, but it's good that they stay; because it shows how relevant that particular issue is/was.
If a thread was irrelevant or degraded into something it shouldn't have, then the moderators are the ones that would clear it up, and they would clear it up as they go. This has been the policy from day one.
The truly ancient threads have been locked to prevent necro'ing.
I say let the history remain. Being able to pull and recall a thread is vital to the post, that any informed player wants to make.
We have a Search function on our forums for the purpose of informing players before they attempt to raise an issue.
Let the threads stay. |

Important items are those already stickied, or those made by DEV's. This also includes any heated discussion topics within the last couple weeks or so. We don't need to look through everything in order to find the important stuff.
What I'm suggesting is that if we didn't have so many topics about everything, using the search function would be more useful since players don't have to go through 20k+ topics in order to find something.
Not only this, but most of these threads are old. Everything that's older than a month is probably about some already fixed problem or something that will be fixed with uprising. |

What about things like the dropship school thread? Or all the corporation recruitment threads? |
