some simple ideas to give corporate officers more control of their teams.
player stats - this will be used so officers can track activity of the player, kills per day, deaths per day, favorite fittings, etc.
corporate teams - this will be quick way for officers to create teams for corp matches, the officer will be able to take all active players, and assign them to each position on the team including squad commanders, and then send out the invites which each player will then receive and be assigned the appropriate roles.
squad color - allow the squad commander to assign colors to the people in his squad, for quick color referencing.
squad highlighting - allow every member of the squad the ability to set targeting markers that will show up in the color he is assigned. ( you have no idea how many times I say, "their is a guy coming...umm...over their by that big thing...it's round...**** to late =/" )
a better compass - can you add large, symbols representing all four direction N,S,E,W if i'm in a hurry, I try to glance up I never notice the N, again this is all to help out squad orders, and calling out targets. |

Combine this with the color coded squad members to color code their individual "pings" for easy reference.
Only real one I saw I didn't really like was player stats, it just seems sorta useless to see kills and deaths. Player activity and fittings is great though. |

was mostly for corporate referencing.
in our corp the officers ask everyone what type of roles they fill, what fits they use, etc, and they want to see activity to get an idea of who will be around and at what times if they are going to plan for corp matches and battles.
with player stats, you could get an idea of how many logis are in the corp, and what type of fittings they use, and how active they will be for those battles. maybe logi one is an expert AR user with average repairing tools, while logi 2 has maxed out his support skills but doesn't get many kills, maybe you put the support logi with your heavies and the offensive logi to support your assaulters, logi 3 might be the ideal person for the corp match but he only plays from 3 am to 8 am.
might be to much info I don't know, was just taking it as far as I could I suppose, some lesser implementation of it would still be useful, but that was my intention anyway. |
