So, is it done.... I hope the may 6 patch is amazing. If it is not I am not impressed. |

May 6 is a new build (Uprising), but we're still in beta.
Looks like a LOT has changed, but I'm wondering how much.
Sounds like vehicles at least are getting multiple control presets instead of just one, but no word on proper customisation, or whether we're getting any options for infantry controls. At least, if there has been word about that, I haven't seen it yet. Would be nice to confirm one way or the other, along with other details about how the controls handle (basically, have the massive issues with basic controls been addressed at all?) But what I have seen doesn't include anything that looks like it's getting worse on any level. |

This is the problem with games in general, everyone expects way to much to the point that the build has to be perfect and when it's not even close they quit out of rage. Hopefully this doesn't happen to dust, but I'm starting to see more and more people hope for the moon, when we will most likely only get an asteroid. Be prepared to be underwhelmed, because if it does turn out better then expected, you will be insanely happy/surprised. |

Frankly, it doesn't matter how good it is, most of these guys will be bored in about a month or 2 anyway. |

I don't expect perfection, what I do expect is some semblance of finished. Like I said, May 6th has to be epic. If it is not then I see this not boding well for DUST 514. |

I know what you mean, I too want to see some of the bugs fixed or graphics changed, but I guess what I'm trying to say is don't get your hopes up as it might never happen or at least in the way we want. Maybe I'll be wrong (I hope I'm wrong), but I just don't want everyone to be disappointed when it doesn't go the right way (think of the new Star Wars films, fans had been anticipating and obsessing over them for years and when the abomination that is Phantom Menace came out, well we all know how that went). |
