I know there is vita companion coming. Hope we get droid and iOS companion as well. The only thing better is E.V.E. Coming to android and iOS, wouldn't want anything more in life than to play on my tablet. |

With the Sony connection being strong why would they do anything besides the portable PS V-thingie?
Android, iOS have no upside for CCP and certainly not for Sony.
Personally I would like to see Skill Tree apps and the DUST store front available over iOS/Android but I don't want any developers to get distracted from making DUST fully functional before taking on something new. Once the API is released I expect some third party solutions for some of the data is currently not available to us. Like ISK cost per battle, most effective weapon and so on. |

What about an app exlusive for Sony Ericsson? I use an Xperia Play and would love to have an app that lets me make and save fittings on the go + its still Sony. (I'm pretty sure Sony Ericsson is part of Sony) |

Like Sony's xenophobia would allow that! Anyone remember when they promised the Vita was supposed to have remote play for the entire PS3 library but said it wasn't available, but then someone hacked the Vita and the entire PS3 library was available for remote play? Yeah... |

Sony has promised that ps4 will have connectivity to my tablet and other personal devices. Speaks volumes about their commitment to the Vita. Sony even has first part android apps to manage home appliances. C C P Seagal stated at fanfest that they know how much we use 3rd party apps and depend on them in the E.V.E. Universe and they will be supporting the in the future.
Might want to re-evaluate what you know about the 2 companies. |

Sony isn't committed to the Vita because the sales were so bad they had to lay of almost 1/3 of their workforce. |

I think the Vita app will be the only official one made, but when the API tools go live, they'll probably be made publicly available so players can make our own apps for different devices.
Part of the problem, though, is that you need to sign into Sony's network to access DUST characters and content, so there might be issues setting it up on some platforms. |
