It's irritatingly bad right now. The sensitivity is so low I have to throw the mouse across the desk just to turn and fire back and someone that's shooting at me. I expected a lot better from a 4000 DPI mouse, to be honest. Have sensitivity (controller and mouse) at 100% but it doesn't help anything.
Any tips would be greatly appreciated. Sick of dying from being forced to use a control format I'm not native to. |

Turn mouse smoothing off, and i think the sensitivity on the mouse might be reversed so try it with smoothing off then fiddle with the slider, the settings on your mouse can change it as well, my mouse has 3 settings that all affect the in game sensitivity. |

There are several settings effect that are related to it.
First is in the PS3 setting menu: Settings -> Accessories -> Pointer Speed = Fast, Normal, Slow
Next is in DUST. The server is down right now but go to System Options
In options there is the mouse smoothing mentioned above which should be disabled and I believe another for speed.
Some mice have adjustable DPI setting internal to the mouse itself and can be increased with a switch versus needing system/game support.
If this helps please let the Forum know and if not then please let us know what you are using for equipment. The KB/M functionality is very limited now but it will be significantly better after May 6th as significant KB/M changes are due.
In the future if you have questions like this you could look under the keyboard/mouse sticky in the top of this Forum. As for asking for help letting others know what you are using for a mouse and keyboard would be beneficial as they might have already solved your problem.
Last, but maybe you could try first next time, is the Search function or google with "dust514 and your problem here" works as well.
Hope this helps.

This did help quite a bit, yes. My only issue now is that when aiming down the sights the sensitivity gets a little bizarre in that it takes a bit more effort to get the weapon to move. This would be great for sniping but as it currently is I seem to have better luck firing from the hip as it's too drastic a change between the regular sensitivity and the ADS sensitivity.
Here's to hoping that changes with Uprising, started to enjoy my time with my KBM setup ^_^
I use a Logitech G15 keyboard and a Cyborg R.A.T 5 mouse.

I use a Logitech G15 keyboard and a Cyborg R.A.T 5 mouse. I am using a standard USB KB for typing only but I have a RAT 7 that I use on occasion. Normally I only use it for Sniping as well. In HAVs as a Gunner when using a Small Rail Gun Turret and for long distance (> 500m) sniping.
The RAT 7 is a great mouse and is my PC gaming mouse where it is also coupled with a game controller as I actually prefer controllers.
After Uprising I am going to spend some dedicated KB/M time to see if I want to change course. With remapping I should be able to avoid some of the left hand key assignments that bother me with the default KB setup. |

This is by design. You get reduced movement (aiming) while aiming down the sights. Also, depending on what class you are running, the mouse movement will be slower. Scout is fastest, Heavy is slowest. |
