The more heavies in a match that stay next to each other the more likely you are to win a match, this exponentially grows with the numbers of heavy, if 5 or more the chances are bumped to 99.9%. the reason being is that HMG's do more DPS than any other weapon, and they have so much max health you cannot stay in combat long enough with them to do reasonable damage, even at long distance. |

This is true, however, a counter theory also grows with your theory. The more heavies on the field, the greater potential for scouts with MD and Flux. It's all about the food chain:
Heavies > Logis and Assaults> Scouts > Heavies
Don't laugh at scouts versus heavies. I mean the concept is sure laughable, but when you actually go against a decent scout/decently armed scout, heavies are almost outclassed because of their mobility. Shotgun scouts are a common example, but another good one is Mass Driver Scouts. |

Not even close anymore bojo, when strafe speeds we're about 2x quicker and heavies had turn restrictions, then scouts actually did something to heavies, but now it's horrible, they stand no chance, the HMG sprays over it one time and drops it's amazing 300 hp.

Can't deny that. But as a Scout I stay away from HMGs like hell and use Mass Driver range as well as Armor predominant heavies to my advantage. But what you say is true, back when I wasn't playing as scout, they were way better. |

because it's a heavy you can't take him one on one, I could say the some about the AR |

Went up against one last night (from Synergy I think, Icedsomething), he was insane. I died 5x times even though I got the drop on him with my HMG because he was just that good and would just dance through my bullets...
Scouts are a heavy counter. So are sharpshooter AR's and lasers. |

How I hate core locus grenades as a heavy, too slow to run away in time. I am getting killed numerous times each match by grenads when playing against elite squads. I hate grenades, nerf them |

Hahahahahahahahahahahaha.
First off, 5 heavies working together? Yeah right.
If they do, just run to the other side of the map. You'll be heavy-free for at least a minute.
And if that's not an option for whatever reason, just drop down mass drivers, grenades, laser rifles, assault rifles from outside HMG range, vehicles, and/or an orbital strike. With any of these options, it will be very convenient to have all your heavies in one place. |

As scary as 5 or more heavys travling together are i think any class travling together in large packs has a 99.9% chance at winning. Besides, heavys arnt that great. Strafe and turn speed is very slow and the HMG only out damages things at point blank. I think its laughable that ppl NEED to destroy a heavy at point blank. Is it not enough that heavys are simply /terrorable/ at anything past point blank? If you can kill a heavy at anyyy range other than point blank, why complain that you need to kill one at point blank too? i dont get it! |

Oh **** I think this just got proven wrong.
Other team had like 4 or maybe more heavies versus a team of assaults and logis and a scout (that's me!) [But it was militia scout with militia sidearms only :(]
anyways my team won despite this seemingly true theory. |

5 heavies together is simply a target, mass drivers and grenades will have them down in seconds.
I am very fond of my heavy but the reality is that AR`s way outclass them now, sad but true and on May 6th it will get a whole lot worse |

Keybord and mouse makes everything in the game from dropsuits to tanks OP and perfect in every form of accuracy and mobility so lets leave that out. I hip fire as opposed to ADS according whats most adventagious to the situation at hand. ADS HMG youl die before you turn half way. Hip fire HMG your into armor dispite the weak heavy strafe if the guy behind you has a decent aim and anything as potent as the easly afordable GEK. Needless to say trying to turn to see the proto guns will kill the heavy outright. So... run heavy run? lolol |
