so I played from 8am wensday to 3am thursday and managed to hit my sp cap on Heavy Salvo, whereas the rest of the people I was playing with during that time still have yet to hit it? wondering if I'm bugged on that chara.

So, you played for nineteen hours, and are surprised to have hit your cap? You probably just hit the cap. I have a buddy who plays a whole hell of a lot, and he'll cap out by Thursday evening pretty often.
If you had a screen of your SP before and after, maybe you could get somewhere with this, but, of course, if you had those screens, you'd be able to just tell whether or not anything was awry. |

Well Banjo the issue here being that the Skill cap was supposedly raised according to this event so a 400-500k cap doesn't really seem to be much of a difference, more so considering I had the active booster.
[EDIT] Wish I had screens of the before and after but considering the SP cap I had been made of aware was absurdly high the thought never crossed my mind, seeing as hitting the cap would not have been this fast. |

[EDIT] Forgot to mention, believe I accrued a total of 400-500k sp give or take during that time, nowhere near the cap I had been made of aware of.
From what I recall, 3x = 500k+ SP

Hm well then the only issue here is I talked to a few people who had supposedly gained more sp than I had without capping which still leaves me wondering.

The cap can be looked at as unmodified for the purpose of estimating time to reach it.
You apply the BASE SP towards the cap, and then multiply by 1.5, and then, this week, anyway, multiply it by 3 to get the AWARDED SP.
The weekly SP cap is 190,400, right? That's, what, 10,021 and some change per hour over a nineteen hour session.
In Skirmish, I think I average about 10K SP, with the booster, which means about 6,666 base.
So, if you played 1.5 games of Skirmish per hour, and earned SP at that rate (which shouldn't be hard; I don't imagine I am a very high scorer) you would hit the cap in that time.

190,400 * 3 = 571,200
571,200 * 1.5 = 856,800
If you honestly did not earn this much, and you have an active booster running, you should probably shoot an email off to support.
(Now I'm going to pay real goddamn close attention to my SP numbers, too! o.O) |

Was getting around 15-20k+ sp for skirmish and 13k+ for Ambush, might not be a high scorer but you're a hell of alot better mathematically than myself, attempted to calculate that on my own and just ended up dazed and confused. |

Well, send support an email. They most likely have all the numbers they'd need to suss out what's going on here. Remember the Tranquility move passive booster problem? They were able to just reimburse everyone what they had missed out on.
If your numbers are correct, this kind of sounds like the active booster isn't being applied.
Good luck with it!
Do us a favor, though, and please share with the rest of the class whatever you might find out? :-) |

Let's try to get this back on track a little bit.
Normal SP Cap is 190,400 SP.
Active Booster is 50% of Normal and is thus 95,200 SP.
The maximum total is 285,600.
Three X will give you 856,800 SP for your weekly Boosted SP Cap.
Adding in 24K SP per day for passive SP or 36K SP per day for Boosted Passive SP.
In general you should get ~1.1M SP this week if you are Boosted for both Active and Passive.
If there is no boosting then the Active SP Cap at 3 X is 571,200 SP.
Passive SP per week is 168,000 SP. Boosted is 252,000 SP.
The 3x non-boosted amount will be slightly less than 750K SP, 739,200 SP.
Put these into a spreadsheet to figure out your own situation. I normally write down what my starting Lifetime SP is when I start my first game after shutdown. Then I add the value for the amount of the SP Cap adjust by Boost (and Special 3x events) which provides the number I am aiming for. That is adjusted for Passive SP and Boost for it depending on which character is being played.
When capped out the values are just max 1000 SP or 1500 SP with Boost.
Regardless of the various bugs that have come through, been discovered, fixed and never visited again my SP has always worked. I even missed the passive activation bug. The above can be a bit of a bother and is probably over kill but it does keep me from guessing what is going on.
Hope this helps. |
