assault vk1. it has 4 high slots for damage mods, and 2 equipment slots for a drop uplink and a nanohive. all you'll ever need. plus, unlike a logi, you get a sidearm slot. that way you're not stuck with your butt in the breeze if someone tries to sneak up on you. |

Logi, easy. The extra equipment slots give you various options. You can also fit a helluvablot of armour & dmg mods. You could have repair nanohives & regulars, drop uplinks to respawn, or, to make up for the lack of a sidearm, you could have REsto cover your retreat if you're caught short. |

ya the sidearm slot on a sniper is VERY useful.
heavies also have the side arm slot, but they are also virtually immune to counter sniping.
scout seems to be easily the worst sniper suit imo. |

Heavy: You're an obvious, slow-moving, easy target, but you can drop most counter-snipers while they struggle to chip away at your wall of shields and/or armour.
Assault: Good balance of survivability and mobility, allowing you to reposition when needed, and unlike a Heavy, you can carry Nanohives and keep yourself well-stocked when you're in a good spot.
Logi: The lack of Sidearm hurts when enemies manage to get in close, so unless you have backup or a way to counter this, it's not the most practical option. Having the extra equipment slots, PG and CPU means you have a lot of variety in how you set up. You can load extra Nanohives, or bring an Uplink so if/when you die, you'll be able to spawn right back into your spot.
Scout: If you're wanting a high-mobility Sniper, this is a good option. Skill into Profile Dampening, and you can be practically invisible, especially if you load a Dampener or two in your low slots. You WILL be one-shotted if the enemy finds you, though, so you need to be careful not to let that happen. There's also the fact that your high Scan Precision makes it very difficult for enemies to hide - often, when they duck into cover, your HUD will keep them lit up for several seconds, and you can line up on the position they're about to step back into your line of fire, taking them down as they make their move. |

scout seems to be easily the worst sniper suit imo. dropping a heavy sniper in two shots is fairly easy so why go for this? more so if you can get OHK from a charged rifle because getting a head shot on heavies is made even easier once the stop moving. |
