Seriously? No get good, invest more time in padding kills, or just pay it no mind and don't even sweat it. The kills leaderboards don't matter at all to me they can do what they want with it. |

Actually, that's not a bad point. Still, probably want to have at least some means for good new players to fight their way up past the 40+ KDR redline snipers. |

if you're a good player, then you should be able to make it back in every 24 hours. if you're a really good player then you'll always be in the top 10. if you're a fake player then you'll be found out and your name will slide down and out.
my guess is that most of the folks on the leaderboard after the first 24 hour reset would never be heard from again.
stat padding never beats the real thing.

If any of my characters is on the kills leaderboard, it probably doesn't belong there. I have a couple in the 100 - 500 range for K/D and Warpoints, and one that's pretty well up the W/L board. 24 hour resets would discourage me even more from paying attention than I already do.
Having daily/weekly/monthly leaderboards AS WELL AS a set of "lifetime" records would be nice, though.
I don't want to lose access to my own stats - or those of my friends, Corpmates, and potential threats - just because it happened yesterday.
Also, 24 hour leaderboards would tell you NOTHING except who's most active that day, just like the lifetime leaderboard tells you more about how long someone's been playing than about their actual skill at the game. Checking weekly and monthly stats - preferably with the ability to look back over the records in detail over a period of several months - would be awesome, but not at the cost of having a permanent record. |

because that does seem easier, just one more SQL query to write.
Select Kills/WP/KD From leaderboard_statistic_database where date/time = 'last 24 hours';
Boom done.

LADDER SEASONS!!!
Simple. Sign up your char for x seasons ladder, those ladder boards could then be archived, when the season is over. |

I don't understand what that would achieve. Sure, it would weed out the stat padders, but a reset? Nope, that's just daft.
Some games have total/monthly/weekly leaderboard filters, and is a much better idea than your tripe.
