The UMAF is looking for small corps outside of the FSC to become allies with.
Why am I looking for allies when i'm already part of the FSC? i know there are still a lot of new small corps out there and lot of them are not part of the federation or any other alliance either because they don't know about it or because they don't want to be in a alliance.
I just want to do my part in supporting the little guy, the best option would be for small corps to join an alliance like the FSC, but for those who don't want to join an alliance I am going to create a new a new chat channel called "United Allies" i want small corps who are going to a try and go it alone in planetary conquest to use it to request help form other small corps that use the channel.
Please note this is not an alliance if you use this channel and request help defending or attacking from another small corp the CEO of both corps will have to agree the terms (be it helping another corp for free or agreeing to a sum of ISK) before any assistance is given.

For the record, FSC membership is basically identical to what you are describing. Membership in General Tso's Alliance (as in a corp applying to Tso's and having the Alliance name attached to their corp name here in the forums) is a different thing entirely, and isn't mandated by the FSC at all. The perks of actually being in the Alliance are extremely limited currently aside from having an exact count of corps and characters in an entity that can be easily tracked from dotlan.
The FSC is, in EVE-terms, a coalition. A bunch of corps and alliances that are friendly to each other and share common interests. And the FSC channel functions as you describe your channel does. Not starting anything, just explaining it is probably best for as many small groups to work together as possible, instead of small groups of small groups. |
