I think this game needs a weapon that is stronger then the SMG, but has more range then a shotgun an SBR would be good. I think the damage should be about 25.0 it should carry about 60 rounds. A SBR is pretty much a compact assault rifle that is good for CQB. |

To say he wants TAR range is a bit unfair, but sidearms in general should have less range than light weapons. |

i know, that was bad of me 
but for realz the SMG has enough range, more so if spec that way and to have at AR range would just be silly. |

Sidearm variants of nearly all primary weapons would be cool.
Sniper Rifle - mini TAR, for closer ranges. (would be nice)
Assault Rifle - carbine with less damage and range.
Scrambler Rifle - scrambler pistol, nuff said.
HMG - SMG
Shotgun - ???
Laser Rifle - Laser Pistol (need one of those too.)
Just make weaker variations of what's there? That too much to ask? |

Pulse pistol instead. shotgun would be pistol shottie, 2 shots, 25 damage per shot, 6 shot burst(compared to 8 shot of main shottie) keep the range the same though... |

Wait a minute...a carbine is by no means a side arm. It is simply a more compact assault rifle, not something you would carry as a secondary. To be honest even a SMG is stretching the whole side-arm concept because of its size. Side arms should be limited to pistols, machine pistols, and a pistol that shoots shot gun rounds. Any other weapons are truly too large/bulky to be carried as a secondary, unless our mercs have a secret space cavity in their suits I don't know about. |

If this thing's a sidearm designed similar to the SMG but in blaster form (mini PR), then this will although have higher damage than the SMG, it will have **** range, and therefore be useless. I pupose that we buff the SMG's already low range by 5-10 meters, then give the Carbine PR it's old range. |
