Now I found that wasn't the smartest thing to do. I keep dying by the best assault rifles (The best one I only have is the 1st prototype) with a few hits. I fully upgraded my assault rifle skills and sniper, but the armor... no. So I just unlocked he basic assault armor, but I need the second. I want to know the best way to get the skill points you can use to upgrade and use freely. Please reply ASAP!

Heathen Bastard Kang Lo Directorate Gallente Federation 191	Posted - 2013.04.23 04:25:00 - [3] - Quote yeah, not the best choice there. play skirmish til you hit your cap(you start getting much less SP per match) then run ambush matches. put points into shield control and field mechanics for the extra health(5% per LV) basically, you want passives, gear is okay, but the passives are what keep you alive and kicking.

Field Mechanics increases Armor Shield Control Increases shields and Weaponry increases damage. I have all these skills mastered or one level off. The result is that you can use everything more efficiently. These skills can beef up Militia Suits so nicely that you wouldn't leave them if it wasn't for the lack of module space.

There is no best way to get skill points man, since skill points are, for the most part, based on how long you spend in a match. You're just going to have to grind it out. If you have access to gauged uplinks/nano hives, they will help you to grind out the SP a little faster I you stick to ambushes (by yourself/out of squad) and lay the uplinks for your team to spawn in on, and lay down nano hives in stratigic well friquented cover spots. Or you could use a repare tool instead of nanos, but I perfer nanos. Anyway just anything you can do to generate a maximum amount of war point. If you haven't already buy passive/active boosters. You got yourself into this mess now you got to grind your way out.

I like HP boosting skills and support skills first - I am a log - because they help keep me in the fight and supply pseudo-passive SP/WP.

It doesn't matter who you join, but the fact is working with other people and learning from them will help your survive-ability. I was in the same position as you, dying a ton of times and not having a chance to make an impact in the game. However, that changed when I joined a corp and started working on team work and skills. That is the biggest thing about this game, it has a large learning curve and one that constantly changes. Also, as someone else pointed out, you should try out logi. The reason is, you will be able to make a lot of WP, but at the same time you will be able to shadow other players, learn their styles and skills while providing back up to your team. As you grow as a logi, you will start to find weapons that you like, fits that work better for the team and in the end you might find that one of the other "types" are better. Lastly don't give up. It might seem impossible now, but with practice and patience you too will become a force on the battlefield. Osiris.

I thought it would be good to upgrade it before the others. shield control has the highest SP req out of the list, i prefer to get the smaller ones done first, you can do it however you like though

And I don't die a million times since I now use assault scrambler pistol (very effective) and GEK38 with a complex damage mod.
