At first, I thought Corporation was group of people who wanted to fight for specific Faction and Faction hires such people in such corporation to fight for them. Then, I have read about how each corporation conquer planets through battles. So is the corporation just a small Faction or what? I am confused o.O |

Sort of. CCP isn't really good with their terminology in a lot of cases :P
In the simplest sense, every corporation is indeed a faction as far as the system is concerned.
As far as most players and some other CCP terminology is concerned, the 'Factions' in eve Consist of "Caldari, Amarr, Minmatar, Gallente" Which can then be broken down further into the 'main' corps of each of the four empires and their various offshoots and pirate affiliates. |

Alliances are kinda like small factions, though alliances can work for factions as well.
A faction is one of the very large NPC groups in game- Gallente, Amarr, Caldari, Minmatar, Jove. By extension it can also include some other NPC "empires" like the Intaki Syndicate, etc.
In general, when people use it, they are referring to the hisec "empires" of the four main player "races".
A corporation (or alliance) can choose to cozy up to a faction (or not), but it's not necessary at this point and there are no in-game reasons to do so. It's just RP. |

Think of factions as NPC alliances. For example, there are many corporations under the Caldari faction:

Factions are the primary "races" of New Eden. They're basically the widest classification within which an individual can be included in EVE or DUST.
Corporations are groups of players and/or NPCs, many of which are faction-specific, but without any requirement to be. There are Corporations with Caldari and Gallente players working side-by-side in spite of their Factions of birth being at war. There are Amarr Mercs who hold no loyalty to their Faction, and work as equals alongside Minmatar - people who their Faction formerly held as slaves, and still have a persisting rivalry with. |

Faction = Empire Race, Highest unit of organization in the game. Corporation = Empire Guilds
Alliances = Player Empires, Highest unit of possible player organization, can assist/declare loyalty to NPC Factions Player Corporations = Player Guilds
NPC corporations however are treated like kingdoms some have swathes of entire territories to themselves. For example ORE is part of the Gallente faction. |

Clone = Player Corporation = Group of players Alliance = Group of corporations
A Faction is an NPC group under a flag. Major (Caldari - Ammar - Minmatar - Gallente) Non Playable (Jove - Guristas - Angel Cartel - Serpentis - Sansha - Blood Raider - Terran - Sleepers)
Factional Warfare as of now, is between the major ones. |
