Every once in a while, I do not get the points for repairing my teammate. Sometimes this is a difference of 25 WP, but when I rep an almost dead heavy complete with 600 armor, I do not get the points I need. The problem only increased when I started to use the triage repair tool, an I have missed out on more points than I can count. Most of the time, this can be the difference in getting the orbital or not. Is there a workaround for this, or can you guys fix it for us? I do not want to change from a Logi only because another build can give me my points. |

There is a timer that limits how much WP you an get via a repair tool. There is are other limits as well as Logi Bros were topping the boards in the Closed Beta. I would place near the top very often and I rarely had to use a weapon. They fixed that. Darn it.
I don't recall the one for Revives but if you pop someone up and they get killed immediately the second revive will net you nothing. There might be one related to doing many revives one right after the other as well. |

That is an interesting twist I must admit.
The best solution I have at hand is to try and lock down the variations. Use the different tools and see if you can establish if that the one specific tool is behind it. Also reread the description regarding the functionality of the particular unit. They all read slightly differently and that makes me ... suspicious. Which is my default state. What if the tool does the repair but the description says it doesn't support drop suits for instance.
Specifically you need to switch to a different tool and verify that it works as expected. Just in case I wasn't clear. Also make certain to repair a variety of suits, vehicles if possible and an installation if the chance presents itself*.
Then report your results back here. If it is one tool specifically, i.e. every other tool will get you WP from the very beginning of the match but the Triage Repair Tool gives nothing I would change the subject line to indicate you have a problem with that tool. If it is all tools that might indicate something else. Exactly what I don't know right now.
The subject line change should be inserting [Bug] into the front and changing the repair tool problems to "Triage Repair Tool not giving WP". Or something to that effect that you prefer. The bug is a good flag but is probably not required. It just makes searching easier.
Anyway, let us know what you discover and we can see if there is a solution or get the Devs notice that there is a problem.

WP for triage are also rewarded only if you repair a suit that has recently dealt damage to an enemy, I believe. This is to prevent players from falling off a building to farm WP. You may not be getting rewards b/c your target was sniped before he/she engaged the enemy.
Also as far as revives go, if you res someone, its 60 WP the first time. If he gets rezzed and goes right back down, no more WP for you if you rez him. So cover him! ^_^

I will have to look out for that, seems to be only the Triage Tool atm but I will have to do some testing when I have the time, until then I hope something can solve it before I get there

I am pretty sure it's not a bug. The person you are repairing has to do damage to a red within a certain time before you start healing. Say if the guy you are healing has been hiding behind a create and someone lobbed a grenade at him and only got enough damage to wreck his shields and a bit of armor without patient shooting back you won't get points. (I see this happen alot where a player will stick his head out and a laser guy will tear through his shield and a bit of armor before he can shoot, then jumps back to cover, lets his shields recharge jumps back out gets a couple of shots against laser guy suddenly I'm getting war points. If your healing as he is shooting you get extra points (Guardian) as well. |

If they inflicted damage to themself then you wont get any WP at all. This includes falling from a building or by explosives. Another thing is if that guy had beeing injured for ages then you wont get WP aswell. So you only get WP if the guy was recently in a firefight and took damage. Works as intended. |

I forgot about that. If they fell off a building (as mentioned), hurt themselves with creative parking a LAV or cooking a grenade nothing will get rewarded.
If your teammate was trying to help you get points that might be the problem. But you wouldn't do something as low as that would you?

This does make scene, the people that I heal do tend to be out of any harm when I rep them (don't start the beginning of the game on the front push) so this may be my answer. thanks for the help.
