sure, as far as consoles goes, growing up i was a nintendohead. I still own a NES and ROB boxset with origional packaging which is my prized possession. I owned a SNES, N64, Gamecube and Wii. After the wii started becoming a more casual console and i started uni, i stepped away from consoles for ages untill 2 years ago when my boyfriend at the time gave me a PS3 for my birthday.
on the PS3 i only really played Assasins Creed, a little bit of BF3 and Little big plannet. That was until Dust came out, and the rest, as you say, is history. |

Lets see...
Playstation 3 specifically I have played Valkeria chronicles, MSG 4, Killzone 2, Disgea 3 and 4.
I regard Kill-zone the absolute worst modern shooter I have ever played due to million bullet syndrome, horrid controls, lack of passion to kill enemies, clunky weapon swapping controls, unhelpful graphics, the single player was so bad I never gave multiplayer a chance.
For shooters you have to take my Xbox360 experiences instead. . |

I've owned pretty much every game console post-NES (Stuff before wasn't really a console so much as a platform imo)
Hard to come up with a list off the top of my head, but I have owned every CoD except for Black Ops II, every Battlefield except 2142, The Killzone series, Socom series, MAG, Halo Series (Except 4) , Borderlands series.
I think you get the gist. Essentially I'm the kind of gamer who tends to try most games when they release and then buy the ones that are really good. Shooters have always held a special place in my heart, but my first 'online' experience with shooters was on the PC with games like quake and unreal tournament.
I'm not generally one that tries to get 100% completion trophies (I only have 3 plats) but across all the games I have played I think I have just over 1600 PSN trophies, to give you an idea of how much I've played the Ps3. |

Yeah lets not take into account that three of them posted thoughtful replies to a mostly irrelevant question from the community within 10-20mins.

The bogged down controls made it so much more fun in my opinion. If you got the drop on someone they died 99% of the time because there was no strafing or jumping , and a 180 turn took a full second.
It's basically the anti-halo and I loved it for that.

I wasn't really looking for some proof of gamer cred. I don't even really consider myself a gamer, or, if I am I have to be something of a perma scrub forever casual.
But the question wasn't really irrelevant. Maybe "experience" comes off sounding like a job interview term. But hey, that is basically what the CPM is, a job. And they work for me.
And I am a playstation 3 fan boy. I took a gamble and bought the original PS 3 60GB fat model when there were like, 3 games and it was expensive as hell and it looked like Sony might have jumped the shark. Even though the quality of the machine was undeniable.
I was not disappointed. PS 3 has been my favorite gaming platform of all time and I have had some of my best gaming community experiences on PS 3 as well, mainly through Demon's Souls and Dark Souls PvP.
As a fairly dedicated PS player I just wanted to get some sense of what the CPM thought of my favorite gaming platform.
In case anyone cares I also own SNES, Dreamcast, Game Cube, and an Xbox 360. I have also had a lot of fun and spent a lot of time playing Age of Empires, Civilization 3, Masters of Orion 3, and Sins of a Solar Empire on various household computers (mac) but have never one that even met the min. specs to run EVE. Which I have never played. How is that for gamer cred? |

YeahGǪ Phantasy Star Online! Good times. Also Hidden and Dangerous.
I bought it used with a ton of games from someone who was upgrading to PS 2. Got Japanese version of Jet Set Radio. Reminds me that I should download that from PS store... since ye ol' Dreamcast is in storage.

Blasphemy
But really you have done it ass backwards
You should have started with MGS1 then MGS2 then MGS3 and then MGS4, you can argue that you should play MGSPW before MGS4 because it came out before MGS4 but it was on the PSP then now its in the HD collection
But get the HD collection, 3 quality games for less than half of a new one |

KZ2 IS the pinnacle of PS3 FPS IWS is on the crack pipe KZ2 did almost everything perfect except whiners couldnt adapt and thats why we got that **** game called KZ3 Clan system in KZ2 > any other console game to date
Realism wise guns performed well, ppl ***** how u get kills with hip fire but dont say **** when u ads and can strafe back and forth and have perfect aim.......KZ2 changed that, ADS was meant for long range and u had to single shot to be accurate, mid range u could burst fire but hip fire was where most of ur kills would come from
OT: Judging by responses seems ppl lacking alot of console FPS experience on the current CPM imo, ppl played casually here and there some not at all so makes me wonder if ppl know whats the console community which they now represent is about and how they work |
