Allright lets spice this thing up. Why dont we fight on space stations for a change? There are enough off them in eve and im sure some stations are basically worth pure money if you have controll ovr them. Like for example if dust players have secured a station they can re programm who is allowed to dock up, set market transaction taxes or even loot the assets from its former owner. Im quite sure that stations are big enough to use them as battlefields. Of course high sec stations like Jita-4-4 would have AI (concord drones?) drones with extreme damage and accuracy defending them but it would be still possible to beat them with very good teamwork |

I will take anything that drives conflict and interactions between DUST and EvE. The more reasons we have to fight means we have a reason to log on and be involved. We also have planetary interaction sites and customs offices, all the exploration sites and any ship larger than a frigate can be boarded by a boarding party. EvE players may not like these ideas but they are options that would drive conflict. |

I think that's an awesome idea, but something that has such a large impact across two platforms and two games would take forever to perfect. Baby steps & fingers crossed! |

I thought you were going to request a Dust "No Russian". TBH, IDK how I feel about it, I would love to be able to hit civilian soft targets in the furtherance of FW (AFAIK the Militias are the fringe extremist groups that have no official sanction by the faction governments), though to have a game mode(s) that would essentially be the pixelated perpetration of the mass murder of civilians would probably be seen as in bad form by many.
Also, when you wake up at a predetermined medical facility moments after "death", suicide vests become a valid piece of equipment. This isn't to say that it would be a tactic that was in good taste, though it would be a legitimate tactic for use by the Immortal Clones. I'd imagine that it would just involve balancing ISK efficiency in their minds "Hmmm, How much damage can I inflict by blowing myself up with 500k ISK worth of explosives strapped to me? What positioning would give me the greatest yield of suffering for my enemies?".
CCP has said they want there to be more shades of grey and that New Eden isn't just black and white, are these tools that we may get in our arsenal at some point? |
