Here are the weekly stats for Corporation activity, I'm limiting the tracking to the top 15 instead of the top 25 for times sake. [4/12-4/19] http://i.imgur.com/DpqRkNF.jpg
The weekly alliance activity report. [4/12-4/19] http://i.imgur.com/HMb5isG.png
I've done a little bit of work and updated the alliance information. I found quite a few Dust Corporations in solo alliances so I added them to the image.

A lot of you guys from smaller Corporations were asking for representation in my last report. I don't have the time or interest to track stats out of the top 100 (it's not that hard to get there if you have 5-10 active members I did want to represent the small guys in my reports in some way because they are a part of the community, so I've done a preliminary top 200 Corp image as well. I need some feedback on this as it's a little harder to get information on the smaller Corporations. If anything is wrong please let me know so it can be corrected in the next report.

I can't help but notice that so many Corporations (even the smaller ones) are not allying with other Dust Corporations, It seems like everyone wants their own alliance, I think this is personally going to not end well for those of you without dust allies.
Developments from the Stats
-Dust activity is down 7% from last week among the top 100 corp players. It will be interesting to see how it trends next week, and how much activity May 6th will bring.
-Operative of the Goat make quite an entrance to the top 100 this week at position #72, Phantom Universe Task Force also joins the top 100 Corps at position #100.
-Nyain San [10 ranks] , Ill Omens [8 ranks], and Arrogance [8 ranks] all made large gains this week.
- PRO is showing even lower levels of activity than last week, they are not even in the top 15 corporations in terms of activity at this point.
The Data
*When CCP releases the API (assuming it works for leaderboards) the scale of my reports will be much larger and I will be able to track the top ~500-1000 Corporations.*
**Next week expect some new graphs, I am starting to look at the Corporations individual members this week, specifically how the top 1000 players are distributed among the Corporations/Alliances.

Noraa Anderson wrote:I would love to see those top 500 tracked. As for alliances they can't be forged Dust side yet.
On that note if your corporation is in the #200 in the Warpoint rankings and you have an unofficial alliance (with another top #200 corp) that you want represented let me know. It might be important for your image come May 6th.
Part of the reason for me imposing the #200 rule is that I am not really interested in manually keeping track of Corporations with 1-2 active members. It not useful for me or the Dust Community.
If you are planning to take part in PC and have not yet earned a few million warpoints among all your members I STRONGLY suggest you look into merging. |

Thanks for the information SilentSam, I've been out of the loop for a few days. I'll make sure the list is updated next week by the latest. I may rework the current stuff to represent this merger as it is relatively big in terms of players, and activity.
I also heard that Zion was joining/or looking into joining unclaimed. If Zion leadership wanted to comment on this I could update that as well. |

DJINN leukoplast wrote:Nice work! Also I think Operative of the Goat has something to do with PRO, either a sister/brother corp or re-branding. Which would explain their increase in activity along with drop in activity with PRO.
Operatives of the Goat is related to PRO, however the real relationship between the two is hard to identify. ContrabanJoe is attempting to make it look like both Corporations are independent and both are thriving, but this doesn't appear to be the case at least from the stats. OOTG also has closed recruitment, which makes it more likely that PRO is now being used as either a feeder, or CBJ just doesn't have the heart to close it when some players are still playing, and maybe donating?
Since OOTG stats are not really any better than PRO's I think it was just a case of CBJ leaving PRO because it got to big, and remade a Corp with the players he liked or knew. Not surprising to see PRO lose millions of WP in activity each week if this were the case as they were more or less left by their leader as he pulled the people he liked/knew into another Corp.
Also noticed they were kicked/left friends of Test a little while ago, It will be interesting to see where this group of players land. |

SILENTSAM 69 wrote:Until Skirmish matches are counted I will be ignoring the 'activity' of these groups. The rare Ambush mode played does little to make one look active.
Of course the OP knows that. I just like seeing who 'looks' active now so we can see who prefers Ambush mode.
I will be really interested to see what happens when skirmish comes into play. It will be cool to see who the 'ambush' and who the 'skirmish' corporations are.
Since Ambush has a higher rewards/time and more gun play I suspect ambush corps will have higher SP,ISK, and gunplay. I think the Skirmish corporations will have better tactics, teamwork, and battlefield awareness.
I really really hope skirmish is fixed by May 6th. |

Another element of the metagame. Never participated in such treacherous ground before. Imagine if one day we rely on these pie charts so much that we don't notice that behind the scenes, you're being paid fortunes to add some small discrepencies, some misleading data which could eventually topple empires. Goddamn, that's worth a headline. "Breaking News: Info Broker's Brokering Breaks Massive Alliance".
For now all of my information that I share here can be independently verified, it will probably always be the case because I don't want to be giving away non-public information for free here.
For now my reports are just to satisfy the general community, to give some answers to questions I had myself. Such as who are the most active Corps/Alliances and what is the structure of Alliances and Corps. l plan to always provide a very basic report for the community like this one.
I am already dissatisfied with the depth of the free report, so expect some new and cool information/graphs next week!
In the future I may be gathering information for clients (I might be being optimistic ), but that will never interfere with the free basic reports I provide to you guys. |
