So in your opinion wich one is better? And why? Its time to see if dust players, and maybe devs or gm's, are more treks or star wars fans(i have no idea whats our nickname). Lets start this chaos! |

The real question is: Which one would you rather live in?
I think I'd have more fun living in thee Star Wars universe. Star Wars has the Jedi/Republic vs. Sith/Empire thing, with a lot of people in between with their own agendas. In Star Trek everyone's part of *Insert faction here* and it seems impossible to just be out for yourself. In First Contact it get way too easy to see Picard as part of a Big Brother-style crapsacharine regime. |

The "frontiersman" style of Star Trek echoes the invasion of the Americas by European forces. All the aliens seem to mostly play minor roles, or else, antagonists (except for a few). This amplifies the feeling of xenophobia. Lastly, there is no "evil" to go against. The Klingons in the original were only following expansionist policies like the Alliance. The Alliance mostly just seem to be invaders, since they're simply expanding, and not fighting anything of note. |

You should all fear living in the Star Wars universe if only because you might accidentally run into Jar Jar Binks. I'd rather deal with the Borg (especially Seven of Nine). |

I liked the themes and space opera goodness of the original Star Wars trilogy, though I think the expanded universe overdid it a little with the Force, and the prequel trilogy is what it is.
As for Star Trek, one does have to respect the humble origins and the use of science fiction to talk about real issues and ideas. Not so jazzed about the stuffiness, or the communism.
So I'm gonna vote Star Wars. Heck, Star Wars is so good, the basic formula was used for the Star Trek reboot Though I'm now worried about the formula of a Star Trek movie being used for the new Star Wars. |

Doesn't make it any easier to swallow. It was a great set of books regardless, only problem with the New Jedi Order is it just takes SOO long to really get started.

Clones aint stormtroopers, clones were almost extinct due to the lack of good DNA so the stormtroopers are just recruited human ( cause the emperor is racist) noobs.

I already know that Clone Troopers were phased out (at least most of the Jango Feet clones) because of the Kamino Revolt. You underestimate me, young one.
