Ohh man this is exactly what I wanted to do.. Well Prob not the singing part in fact I was going to email you guys a few questions relating to this..

Would CCP be willing to let us download the various sounds in dust, eg. Different types of gun fire, the ominous songs, themes songs in Dust etc. I was going to get into matches and just record the different sounds but if you're willing to have the sounds available to download, it will give us higher quality audio files., and without interference. Well you can tell why I'm asking

My idea: dust dubstep

Start off with a few small weapons, adding layers and with a lot of subliminal sounds,
It builds, the dark heavy drones of the HaV, and building with intensity.
Then as it start to peak, everyone one waiting for the Drop.. The perfect sound, the one that makes every merc shudder and attempt to run.. *pause, pause... DROP! *
THE Orbital strike!
Followed by a HMG and heavy bass..

Oh man the idea is in my head I just need to get it to out,

But if CCP would be willing give us the sound files, either way I'll be making this, but just depends on how long the production time will take..

You could record gameplay video and cut audio from it and use it then.

And don't tell your idea completely to everyone, they might do the same thing ;)

It is time to make you mercs sing!

Parodies, remixes or just regular songs related to DUST 514 are requested from you! The only rule is: No profanity is allowed.

Once you are ready to submit (and upload on places like YouTube, SoundCloud or similar places), link your entry to the DUST 514 Song Contest Entries Thread and we will pick the Top 3! And of course: entries need to be created exclusively for this contest.

The contest is open from 19th of April until 10th of May. Winners will be announced on Friday, 17th of May in this thread.
