Damn mod locked the thread before I got an answer
The only reason I dont use KB/M is because it takes longer to fully rotate the turret.
Any specific reason for that setup on a tank? |

Any specific reason for that setup on a tank? it makes the tank faster and have better acceleration. for armor tanks especially. DS3 for modules and turret rotation. |

Really?
So, do you have to press down W and hold R2 for it to work? |

i've seen armor tanks move abnormally fast, like LAV speed...pretty sure these guys are holding forward on the left stick and W on the keyboard at the same time |

But i presume u use the wasd buttons to move and the analog sticks to turn the turrets and R2 for modules. |

Oh yeah, forgot L3 moves the vehicle
Usually its R2 in most games.
I assume its L3 + WASD, because thats how you do the speedier strafing glitch as infantry. |

I have the DS3 in my left hand (long fingers so I easily reach both sticks and L1, which is better than using mouse right button). The fingers should be gripping the left handles in such a way that the handle rest against... uhm, if you raise your fingers such that they're about 30 degrees up (opposite of making a fist) relative to the level of your palm... you should be able to hold the DS3 in a firm grip with the 3 lower fingers to the point where you can easily open your palm so that the DS3 makes a 90 degree angle. (or almost 180 in my case)
My right hand is on the mouse (R.A.T. 7 that has onboard DPI switching, cause PS3 lol) when driving around normally or shooting.
In emergencies, when I need to both drive and turn the turret I switch to both hands on the DS3, so the mouse and DS3 need to be close. |

There are active/passive boosters similar to dropships.
