Methinks it is time to plan for implementation of the something catastrophic clause of the 'there will be no more SP resets unless . . . " statement. Discuss. I'd say keep the flaming to a minimum but who am I kidding?
BAsically, there are people arguing that only those people who 'demand' their merc packs honor the purchase agreement should have their SP reset, while everyone else (to include people who got the merc packs but don't make these 'demands') do not. Regardless, I think we're hovering on the edge of the something catastrophic clause. Therefore, if you are one of the people that doesn't want to see a complete reset, maybe you should let the issue go, and stop trying to get just people that are 'demanding' what they see as due them punished for it.
Myself, I'm fine with a total SP reset, which is what should have always been the plan (afterall, look where we are now). |

There's nothing catastrophic here, other than the over exuberance of people's interpretation of law. I'm sure ccp's lawyers > dust forum posters. |

How dumb do you think CCP is? They run backups on their server. If something goes wrong, they will just revert their server to the previous backup (which will likely be done right before they start updating it) and they will either A) delay the patch; or B) extend the downtime. |
