Cheating? Not so much. either way it doesn't make the game to enjoyable.. And hows the wp counting 5,10,20,50,100, by the end of the game they have 9999 And I have played since the closed beta..This is more since the last reset.. When everyone loses their skill points.. And I broke a rib recently and have hit the cap 3 weeks running..How can I fix it..? Following orders from a Squad Leader gives you 20% bonus, and the same amount of commission to the SL on anything earned.
Guardian normally earns 35 WP. If you're near the squad's defend (or attack) order and are repairing someone, their kill will earn you 42 points instead of 35. Do it twice, and that's 84. Add something that gives you a 5 WP count and that makes 9, leaving you with 9 as the final digit of your WP count.
After you're past about 150 WP, almost any number is possible with the right scenario WITHOUT glitches and WITHOUT cheating and WITHOUT anything going wrong in the game.
And there are problems with hit detection, particularly around objectives. Sniping or Shotgunning in those situations often fails, and you'll sometimes get a major drop in DPS with most automatic weapons. At long ranges, terrain models don't always match what the server sees, meaning you'll sometimes see enemies who you can't shoot, because the server is seeing the terrain or a building a short distance out from where it's rendered on your screen, blocking the shot.
Another part of the server-side hit detection is the fact that when you're lagging, you need to lead your shots based on your ping - if you're running with 300ms ping to the server you're playing on, you need to aim where the target will be in 0.3 of a second instead of where they are right at that moment. You can get a decent feel for the delay you need to lead shots by firing and watching how long it takes for your ammo counter to drop. Aim about that far ahead of your target and your shots will almost always land. Check at the beginning of every game, because you won't always be on the same server, and keep in mind that your ping isn't a constant unchanging value, so you might find it fluctuating over time. |
