1) Will you ever fix skirmish?
2) Will you ever update the missing stats? Kills, Deaths, Warpoints?
It's been since Feb. 28th thats a while ago yet no answers. |

From what I have read from responses from irc is that on may 6th it will be fixed but chances are the stats will not be given to us which really sucks imo. |

One wonders if they will reset all the K/D/WP to zero as well as zeroing all the Skills while leaving the SP.
Before you explode into flame consider this. There does not appear to be adequate battle logs or they would already be restoring K/D/WP from any missing event. There are several problems with the existing stats anyway. Many Corps are fanatical with regards to K/D and others, myself included, are concerned more with WP which is also drastically under counted.
May 6th, will effectively gives us all a new game. Many of the issues we hope will be resolved, the stats being just one of them. The final inclusion of the long awaited Racial Variations will be here.
With a drastically different Skill Tree resetting the stats to zero might be the best way to level expectations regarding ranking and abilities with such a wide variation between what the current stats were based on versus what the stats after May 6th will be reflecting.
Just a thought. What do you think? |

I wouldn't surprised if we do not get any WP/KD updates. And for those of us that plays lots of Skirmish... yeah sucks to be us if you want to be a part of the WP/KD boards.

Resetting the K/D/WP, etc back to zero is a bad idea because it's going to make more people angry than if they just failed to update missing KDRs, etc for skirmish players. A lot of people have put a ton of time into the game just to stay on top or near to the top of the leaderboard. To wipe all that out just because some people (myself included) are missing a few hundred or thousand kills seems silly.
Also, it wouldn't make much sense for them to update the current stats even if they did have the correct numbers because they would just be wrong the very next hour anyway since they won't have fixed the actual problem. People would just complain about how they should update it at every downtime or some such demand which might not be feasible. It would be easier just to do it all at once and know you won't need to do it again.
That being said, they really should do everything they can to recover the lost stats. They might just be for show in the player leaderboards, but for the corporation ones, some good players may factor into their decision those stats not being represented accurately. |
