Hi peeps had an idea for turret installations and for peeps that specialise in turret operations, Rather than man those that on games drop randomly have them so they can be called in like calling for a vehicle for example, as I found some that randomly drop are lets face it not in a great position, Obviously rather than have the whole maps covered in them limit the amount on the field like vehicles that can be called in at any one time, also possibly in the long run add turret installations that could be purchased, like for example vehicles hell why not also add in slots high and lows for extra sheilds armour or armour/sheild reppers, Just thought it might be an interesting idea for anyone who has points in turret ops see what you think. The Battlefield Commander (BFC) will be in charge of dropping Installations of several kinds. The BFC will operate the 120M ISK MCC and will probably feel like dropping those very expensive items their self.
The settings for Installations are randomly generated, to some degree. We are currently running on four maps and the various Objectives and other structures are placed on the map. Exactly how the system works is unclear but it does seem to put Turrets facing the wrong way a significant proportion of the time.

Just a note, turrets get destroyed with two or three rail gun hits. Depending on the skill of the operator shooting at the turret. |

I'm hoping, if turrets do become deployable, that they gain much more armour and shielding at the expense of range and damage. I imagine they'd be more of an obstacle that enemies would prefer to avoid if necessary but can also assault if it's in a critical point.
Also, I'd say that there should be no neutral turrets on a map if we can deploy turrets.
