Hello,
I'm taking part in this event, the last time I got items delivered from CCP they showed up like in EVE, you had to claim them before logging in. Is it the same with this? I think we were supposed to get the items by now, but I don't think that I have.
Secondly, and more importantly, my understanding from the first week was that these are blueprints (able to be used infinite times on a fit). I can't tell if the items from week 2-4 are the same but week 1 clearly said blueprints. And the logos show blueprints.
Can someone clear this up? When do we get the rewards, how, and are they infinite runs? |

They are blue print copies, CCP tricked you with word play, they are expendable.
The prizes were also delayed. Welcome to the best place on earth. |

I believe it's been said by one of the devs (I'm not going to search for it) that they are blueprint copies meaning they get used up. And you should be getting week one's today according to the dev post in the announcements.

I logged in this morning and there was a huge menu of freebies for me to collect.
The prizes are being dished out now.
I also thought they said blueprints.
I'm having great difficulty buying into Dust as it never seems to give you what you think it is going to.
CCP never word things correctly, but hey, their not English, they are in Europe somewhere, so you can't expect them to be able to word contracts, menus or competition rules, let alone the games manual very well. |

Copies in this context is simply specifying duplication, with 'Enhanced Kinetic Catalyzer blueprints' being the duplicated item.
If it were written properly, it would read:
35 Enhanced Kinetic Catalyzer blueprint copies
Anyway, I checked my assets and the meaning is clear now. No new blueprints :(
So another quick question then, for future reference... Is gear and bpcs of that gear synonymous? Are we in fact just buying bpcs when we buy gear, and it's 'built' out of nano-goo on the battlefield? Maybe there's a thread on this somewhere I'm missing, or maybe my EVE knowledge is betraying me. I've been confused about this a few times before...

The game is free and in Beta, terminology is still developing and changing daily, I get all that. I still love playing! It's just unfortunate when these miss-communications occur.... I still can't believe they put out the Mercenary Pack during Beta...that really should have waited until release. |

I think for now they are synonymous but i guess when eve pilots are building gear this will change, but who knows how CCP will implement this |

I just checked the manual and yeah, a piece of gear is technically just a BPC, though in EVE when you have a BPC it's a lighter blue picture, these pics look like the built item, so that's confusing!
