currently: 1 day booster - 2000 AUR 3 day 3500 AUR 7 day 7000 AUR
If I have sundays off and would only like to play with an active booster on those days I have to forfeit the time on the rest of the days the booster is active, quite lame.
I should be able to buy and play with boosters at my leisure without a "punishment"
Yea, I get that it's a "business" but is this actually promoting sales? probably not, those that want the 7 day boosters and longer will buy them anyway, but this makes the 1 and 3 day booster irrelevant.
Please change ASAP. |

Nope...
Depends on the business and it's "Ethics" or lack of. |

Actually most restaurant chains will offer large order specials McDonald's might not but most will.
There is no Lack of ethics here CCP can basically charge whatever they want to charge. if you don't buy it. you don't buy it.
If you are really worried about it buy a merc pack 40k aur and a 30 day booster and the other stuff. this gives you 20 1 days and 30 days of boost.
so basically yes they cost more but it happens. |

Yea I have to agree with that, if you don't think its ethical or good, don't get it. The only booster I ever got was from the Merc pack and I actually have never used it. Mostly because I get like 1, maybe 2 days a week to play. Maybe if I lose my job if they finally get pissed I spend all day playing Dust 514ums. |

Time isn't the only factor here. If you've got a day off and the bladder control to hit the weekly cap in a single day, then you can get roughly the same bonus SP out of a 1-day booster as you can from a 7-day. |

What about those hours when you're sleeping - " I can haz booster for 1 hour"?

Are you serious? How is "bulk" pricing a breach of ethics? |

Have you ever taken an economics class, or even worked at a business? There is an entire division of businesses called "wholesalers" or "distributors" that just sell things in bulk at a lower price. |

Thought about this issue a hour ago and how jacked up the aur prices aur the idea is they want you to spend more faster. |

The system should be fair you are taking the fairness out of it why should we spending over 10,000 more aur just so we can use our boosters on our time? It is a cheap system and looks more money hungry then actually helpful. |

OP, Welcome to business 101.
If you have no interest in keeping a business running you are in the wrong class, proceed down the hall to Physical Education.
If one can put the effort in over the course of 24 hours the 2k AUR booster gives the best Return On Investment (ROI). If not, the 3.5K version gives one enough time to claim the reward and if one plays more than one day to hit SP Cap you can continue to play and add some bonus that is otherwise unavailable.
If you play everyday the 7K solution is actually good as each battle comes in at 150% of WP after the SP Cap. That can add up to a reasonable sum (a friend used to push 200K SP extra per week). There are specials that make it even more affordable.
For those that want to commit more there are other versions. Start a spreadsheet, enter the values, find out which gives you an ROI you can live with and go for it.
Or, in your case, I would suggest you don't use it at all. Play the game straight, use Militia Gear, save your cash and then schedule the ethics class for next semester as you clearly have some concepts confused.
PS: my alt will run the 2K version from time to time. I have only failed to Cap out using it one time. |

Also the 'value' of an active booster decreases the longer you have it. The 7 day booster can get you through 2 caps if used properly, but the 3 day one can only do so if you plan to play Tuesday-Thursday. The one day booster I use sometimes on a Saturday when I'm playing a character and I want to go from 0 SP to capped for the week. However, you could think of it as "price of admission", where the initial high cost is simply attaining a booster, and the cheaper increase for longer duration is just increasing the "goods and services" you want once admission is gained
So, IMO, each has a different use and I think that their pricing is appropriate for these uses. If you bought a 3 day booster on Friday and used all 3 days to simply cap your character, I'd laugh as you could have done it for 1,500 AUR cheaper. |

I don't know why, but this comment actually makes me angry. I understand that EVE/Dust have a pre-built in Skeezy aspect to it, but gaming my gaming items for this game just leaves a bad taste in my mouth. However the statement is correct and the logic unflawed. |

You do still acquire benefit from the 3 day booster in the example, as it allows you to pass the 1000 SP limit once you cap. However, the real benefit of booster (IMO) is from before you cap, as having 50% more of that is much greater than 50% more of any cap-limited game that week.
So it's not like you're paying for nothing... |
