I think we don't get same DNA clone every time we spawn. This just don't square. Or is oversimplified much more than oother parts of the game of dusts.

Look every battle has limited pool of clones. We are going to farm and trade clones in bulk like potatos.
So how do you guarantee, PLAN that this bulk quantities contain a particular DNA set? You can't reliably predict who will need a new clone and how many of them? This is why we have no faces visible in MQ. We get a different face every time we spawn. And the gender of the clones? How do you guarantee a woman gets a woman body from a limited pool of bodies shared by two sexes?

I was staring at my television with the lovely DUST background image on the PS3. You know:

Mammoth Amaar-esque chamber filled with clone storing, growing-tech-mass (great background art) &
I was wondering what those clones think about...hanging there...copies of us. Blanks. Like ammo, ready to be loaded into the chamber and fired down Life's barrel....

In some ways it is oversimplified to improve game play.

My guess is that we will be getting "cosmetic" or "social" clones for our MQ and War Barge while the battlefield clones will stay generic. That would be consistent from a lore perspective while being a good source of potential revenue in terms of selling special outfits and decorations (what they tried to do in EVE but no one could see you).

Everybody getting hung up over DNA and looks and gender...wake up fools!

We have no gender. We need no gender. Gender is a human quality meant for mortals. Gender, appearance of the flesh, DNA...these are qualities from a bygone era.

Remember during your initiation into Mordu's Private Trials? Many of you do not remember, I know...but they made us all kill ourselves the first time. It was our moment of psycological breakthrough - when we were forced to realize that, no matter what, if there is a warm clone somewhere out there tied to your implant, you will wake up.
