Alright so it's been a while since I've played Dust. Maybe 6 or so months, going to start playing again and get back in my old Corp. How are dropships, Forge Guns, tanks? Anything I should know before jumping back into the game?
A.k.a I need a sitrep, if you guys know what I mean. |

Dropships - CCP killed them, they suck
AV is OP
HAV shield is weak, armor can take some AV, shield tanks beat armor (ie 1 proto AV can solo a shield tank |

Pub stomping is more common now.
Stick with a squad or get decimated alone.
Assault rifles account for the majority of weapons used.
Nanohives are the most popular piece of equipment.
Laser rifles burn you, big time.
There are lots of MCC afkers these days, looking to exploit the SP accrual over time mechanism.
If you're losing, most of your team will revert to the redline and give up.
If you're winning, most of your team will call in their most expensive gear to compound the redline camping.
I've survived longer in a militia LAV than a 500k dropship.
Precision strikes: if you hear the tone, no amount of Stark bracing will prepare you.
So no, everything is still just as per New Eden. |
