When in a battle if I run out of items on a dropsuit and have to restock, the game will only allow me to restock items I can buy from the marketplace even if I personally have 50 of that item in my own supplies. It seems like the game should always look and pull from personal inventory first and if you don't have enough of something, then go to the market to fill only the remaining items which you do not have enough of in your own personal inventory.
Why would I even want to buy more of an item I have 50 of already? Or maybe I want to use the items I was rewarded with in battle first before I go and spend more money to buy more.
The way it is set up now just makes no sense to me. |

I'm not sure there is a simplier way of doing it. There are two ways I've seen, Item stocking and full suit stocking. Both have their qualities and drawbacks. I personally like just telling it how many times I want to be able to spawn in the suit and it goes and makes sure I have that many of each item.
I think I would also prefer a autobuy option. I just tell the game how many of an item I want and whever the item drops below that threshold then it rebuys the item.. or just have a button which says keep this suit in stock and no matter what you will always have that suit active unless you have no $$ |

If you're restocking an entire fitting, it buys one more of every slotted item, except, of course, BPOs.
So, if you have 50 Fused Locus Grenades on a fit, and 2 of everything else, you can't restock that fitting, because Fused 'Nades don't exist on the market. I never ran in to the problem, but I would guess being out of AUR and having Aurum items in a fit would do the same.
Here's a potential solution for you: dupe the fitting, and remove the non-marketplace item(s), leaving those slots open (not sure if you'd need to put a BPO weapon in. Never tried to restock an invalid fitting)
Then you'll have a fitting of everything purchasable from the one you actually play in, for purposes of quicker restocking. |

In the last summer, Dust had system where while restocking you told how many suits you want to have. And the game bought all the missing items for you.
That was good.
Wonder why that isn't in the game, even as an option. |
