Every person who has them stacked on an assult fit or av or forgegun (mostly the AR users) will be absolutely hart broken that they can no longer dominate the battlefield...I can see it now " put damage mods back the way they were" followed by a lot of QQ and people arguing.

Unfortunately I'm pretty sure it's been confirmed that damage mods are working as intended, and have been for a very long time.
It just so happens that they're insanely useful, and your only other choice is shield extenders since shield rechargers are a bad joke at best. |

On a side note it bothers me that railguns don't follow the basic physics of well a conventional railgun.., |

I mean the amount of damage they do compared to their advertised stats. Obviously they were meant to be high damage.
On a side note I have no idea what a "conventional" railgun is. |

I'm guessing he means in comparison to the real thing. the real thing right now operates at 1/8th the power of the game model, and at the distances in the game, would have zero/absolutely minimal travel time. therefore the game version should not have travel time. |

-Damage mods make you a glass Cannon -shield rechargers keep you alive on the frontline
There is a limit at how much buffer tank you can run on your suit to stay viable, it keeps you alive during an alpha strike but it does not keep you alive trough a sustained attack where the only break you have is a second here and a few seconds there before they hunt you down.
I notice it allot fighting vs 3-4 people at the same time, i drop a guys shield, they drop mine, i duck in cover, before he gets to me 2-4 seconds, my shield is restored and his shield is still sleeping and he then joins his shield sleeping.
And before the next guy gets to me, whatever damage i took is already fixed.
In Eve, we call those tanks Buffer or Passive tanked ships, they are great for low lvl pve, they fail hard at anything else. |

Railgun damage scaling is wrong on skills.

Popcorn is a carcinogen.
Also, damage mods are fine, and shield extenders are better.
Just wait for the damage mod buff if you want to see QQ, but then I guess you'd be joining in. |

passive skills are broken hence railguns do that much dmg if ppl were actually old school tankers that tanked before ez mode tanking came into play they would know that rail tanks never 2 shotted anything |

they're working as intended..... CCP_nullarbor confirmed that it's only the UI that is broken. First damage mod : 10% bonus Second damage mod : 8.7% third dam mod : around 5.3% Forth damage mod : around 2%
So stacking 4 damage mod "only" gets you a 26% overall bonus. (numbers may not be exact but it's close).
