I've mostly stuck to ARs (the Tac and GEK) and the role of a medic in my logi fits. I thought I'd try my hand at demolitions.
Here's the fitting: Logistics Type-1
High Slots: Enhanced Shield Extender, Basic Precision Enhancer Low Slots: Basic Armor Plates, Enhanced Armor Repairer Weapon: EXO-5 Mass Driver Equipment: Gauged Nanohive, Remote Explosive, Nanite Injector Grenade: AV Grenade
Any suggestions or feedback? |

Replace precision enhancer with a shield extender. Replace armor plates with something else. You can ditch the injector for another set of explosives. You can carry Remote Explosive + F/45 RE and it'll let you get the full number of both on the field. |

If you want to demolish installations, your current set up will do fine. Vehicles, however, are a different story. For remote explosives to be effectively used on vehicles you've gotta be actively observing the spot you lay them down on for activity. Proximity explosives can do that without having to keep your eyes on them. Perhaps drop the injector, as suggested above, for prox explosives. As a demolitions guy using explosives, you'll be spending most of your time laying traps and defending one area for your team, which means you won't be out in the thick of it (for the most part). The injector without a repair tool is only beneficial when someone waits until the firefight clears before injecting fallen teammates. Since many just bleed out after 3 seconds of going down, you want to revive them fast, and this means you need a repair tool to keep them alive. Once again, I feel that it's the distinct difference in combat engineering and logibroing again. Going half of each only really works in a squad that knows what they're doing. |

I heard that a logi always had to carry a nanite injector to effectively fullfill their role. The precision enhancer is so I can see people trying to sneak up on me from further away. Since I can't use the MD in CQC without blowing myself up. I'll try out what you suggested though. Thanks for all the feedback! |

Oddly enough, the logi suit vk.1 (proto) is the best suit in the game for pretty much everything. At the proto level, you're better off using the proto logi suit over the proto assault if you're rocking an AR or something.
If you're running around playing a medic, keep the nanite injector, but if you're using the suit because it's better than other suits for a different role, forget about it.

The precision stuff is odd, and I would not trust the radar. It doesn't work too well, you have to use your head. If you're worried about a shotgunner or something, just throw a grenade. Scouts are weak, so if you get a grenade even slightly close to them, you get an easy kill.
Mass driver does not do nearly enough damage as it should to the user. If you're unlucky you'll kill yourself, but for the most part you should be fine.
And you're welcome ^.^ |

I have AV nades in the fit. And I'm really unlucky. Thanks, though. I'll just hope they fix the radar in Uprising. |

For this role you're gonna want a hive and 2-3 different explosives.
Having done a solo proto demo suit way back when I can tell you it's good to have both REs and Proxys.
REs have the obvious use of taking out turret installations, setting infantry lure traps, or just covering objectives.
Proximities then have their role for setting defensive lines against vehicles as well as trapping roads or even directing decent HAV drivers away from a specific route by deterring them with the little beeping warning. Avoid stacking 'em but keep 'em close so that at least 2 will hit any vehicle passing that roadway. This should manage most LAVs and deter quite a few HAVs even.
Playing saboteur can be fun but it's a lone-wolf kind of job. If you're gonna support your team you'll want to limit yourself just to the RDX or Proxys depending on how they're playing the field.
I wrote some more ideas on it in my "General Tactics Overview" if you care to look that up but despite its ranking on the forums I doubt most people take more than one look at it before their head swims and they just close the window.
____
As for suit modules, you'll want your defenses up so you can take some shots just in case so you'll want shield extenders, but you'll want speed and stealth so drop the armor plates in this situation and go for maybe Shield Regulator if you're gonna stay in combat as well or even Kinetic Catalyzer to get yourself around the field faster so you can maintain your trap setups.
Armor Reps are always advised in my personal opinion.

I changed the grenades to cover the MD's weaknesses, and replaced the nanoinjector with a prox mine. |
