More seriously, if they were promised it, it wouldn't hurt to honor the promise. As long as they aren't playing too often I don't buy the excuse that they have to work. However, it could be that they don't want to listen to six months of whining in the forums about why those guys got a play date and some other derps didn't. QQ |

Pretty sure CCP have not only still got records of who was in the Imperfects at the time, but also who was in the Corp AND involved in the tournament.
Shouldn't be hard for them to short-list the relevant players and say "get together your team from any of these players" and set a match up.
I don't generally get along with the Imperfects. No active dislike towards them, but I don't have many friends in their ranks either. And in spite of my almost total neutrality around the situation, I have to say, I support people honouring their promises (see the discussions about the Merc Pack), and it would be a shame if this promise isn't followed through. It will probably either be a Proto-Imp stomp or a devhax stomp, but regardless of which way it goes, I want it to happen. And if/when it does happen, I want someone to record. |

He was part of our corp. Since the last reset I think, he's used a different character as his main.
Many of us that do care at this point simply care out of principle. We know it's going to be a slaughter, but it's the fact that it's going on 5 months now and I only remember ever seeing one dev acknowledge that this is even a thing that is supposed to happen (Foxfour, and that was recently when we brought it up in IRC a couple weeks ago or so). The rest just go silent every time it's brought up. It's the point of something being "guaranteed" and then not even acknowledged for almost half a year. It's just been leaving us with a sense of "dafuq, devs?" this whole time. |

It you set a standard you should be held to it
even when its not "convenient" for you
Its about having developer integrity
Its about when they offer you rewards for the human endurance event and never give them to you.
Its about them offering a service and not providing it
If CCP holds the right to go back on their word and break promises made to the playerbase when it suits them why should I follow their rules for conduct and EULA? it goes both ways.
And more importantly its about trust CCP should be building with its playerbase. |
