I tried to log in this morning to get my five games a day reward at the end of the month. And I'm greeted with the message that the cluster is not accepting new connections. Hat does this mean?
Are we still in extended down time?
Has my playstation been corrupted?
If anybody knows, let me know.
P.s. I got all excited two days ago as I got my months wrong. It's next month on the 6th we get the new update. Where it has already been tested and shown off to everybody at the GDC.
It does seem CCP are dragging their feet a bit now...
I still get bugs thought out the game. Most of the time it's that my player is running around with no hands or gun.
P.s another annoying trait is the orbital bombardment. I've spent months making my tank for some newberrie to take me out with an orbital bombardment every time I bring a tank into the game. |

yes, it's extended.
and if you're getting hit with orbitals, its probably not a newbie doing it.

Definetly not newberrys. I was trying to flank on manus peak to set up a drop uplink and got hit with an orbital when the entire team was on the other side of the map actively shooting at the reds who held the middle hill. Why waste an OB on one person when you could hit the rest of the team and get a lot more kills.
Now I can imagine that the squad leader was bored and if you were getting free OBs then why not but if it is something earned via 2500WP then it would have been wasteful as it would have been easier to have a couple of red take me down. Unless it was me who killed the squad leader earlier :-), unlikely as I play a pure support Logi and generally do not get many kills. |

I've been orbital bombarded not even a quarter of the way into a game before. 5 minutes in, just enough time to call in my 400.000 ISK tank and to get into the centre of the map. And bang, one tank gone.
It seems from the hot fix mentioned above by stinker butt, that there was an WP exploit going. Hopefully with that fixed, I can make it a bit further into the game from now on.
Half the comments on here are about a reset being wanted or not wanted. Anybody have any opinions or news on this. I read somewhere here that if you email CCP, you can actually ask for a reset. But it all seems to revolve around the merc pack, saying you'd be refunded at commercial release. The next update on the 6th of next month still isn't its commercial release is it. It will still say beta work in progress. So they have a point. I don't know if I'd want a reset or chance to reskill.
Everyone's different.
I chose tanks this time as in the last build even with a proto suit I was constantly being picked of by snipers. This time I'm constantly get orbital bombardments trown at me.

Apparently those newberries figured out a way to get two orbitals for the price of one, and they are trying to fix that today. So since they are fixing it, anybody care to let us in on the details of the exploit? |

Human Endurance is Wed-Sun until the end of April, any matches you have on Mon-Tues have no baring on the final tally atleast that's how it was written in the Devblog.
Also getting blapped by a blueberry orbital in your tank tbh is annoying but isn't surprising. Last week was Easter Week for Schools (in the UK), the number of muppets playing seemed to exponentially expand. Blessing and a Curse in one though ... any day I don't have to play against continental Europeans who apparently have nothing better to do than grind DUST every day the better, as you're not going against ppl with bloody Prototype Suits and Armour every damn game - but downside is they're all teenagers that seem to lack any sense of voice chat decorum.
That reminds me actually the player stats have been kinda frozen for a while (or not updating in-game not sure which) does anyone know if they plan on sorting that out soon?

any of you guys get the glitch of a nanohive for a gun? your holding it sideways, reloads too and when you aim down sights your whole screen is blocked cuz you cant see over it. lol |

Not going to happen. The bug could be in other elements of the game, and found by less honourable people who go on to abuse it.
Revealing details of exploits, fixed or not, is pretty much a no no. Just the fact that an exploit was fixed. |
