Night after night I'm playing Dust and now it's affecting me as a person.
I think about fittings I can try out while I'm at work, I catch up on the forums when I'm eating, I make tables and charts about stats when I'm with my girlfriend, and heck...

No seriously the last three nights have been me in battle. My favorite was that I was playing an ambush and brought a tank down to barely any health, killed the driver that got out, then proceeded to hack the tank and drive it around repairing it back to full health. The other team sent in two more tanks, one of which was the same as the one I stole. XD
I'm losing my mind. Just wonderful. |

I don't play games with subscriptions. The idea of me paying for a service, and then not using that service as much as possible within the amount of time I have paid for creates a horrible neverending system.
The reason I play Dust is because the only game with a better Medic role was Resistance 2 co-op, and no one ever plays that anymore because it's an outdated game. |

Back in April of LAST YEAR?
Yeah.
Now? yawn its a yawn kinda chore just to log in and right now I am not even going to bother to log in until Wednesday or probably Thursday.
And once you get to ten million sp then its just less stressfull to just let the passive sp build up as you play another game.
But then that leads to if you are haveing a lot of fun with another game five months from now it just gets harder to return to playing Dust. |

i had something like this when playin killzone 2, would be walkin down the street and kept hearing the beepin noise when u kill someone. another time was in the car and looked down at the leftside of the windscreen and was surprised when i didnt see a map like the one in GTA 3 lol |

That video was very deep. I always try to remind myself that life IS a game. People try to make it this serious other world. Except life is the easy game. There are no winners or losers. The fun is in just playing and getting to play life is the win. As he said in the beginning of the vid, people try to find out why games are addictive, but it's not the game it's the person. We know why crack is addictive, but if you talk to most addicts they don't want to smoke crack or blow rails or shoot up, they want to fill a void or get away from a problem.
Just remember unlike video games, in life there are no winners or losers, there just is. IT is all how you interpret those experiences.

Reminds me of when I used to constantly hear the BFBC2 recon motion sensor, out of game and have a sudden sense that I was being watched or followed. Or the times when every time I blinked, I would see flashes of Borderlands HUD.

Best part about this game is that you don't have to play it to progress.
Gonna go see the girlfriend tonight and hopefully don't get sucked into this whole mess again. |
