Heps, need help understanding how boosters work.
I've so far earnt just over 190K Active SP (ca 192K) since Wednesday afternoon. Now, with an Active Booster, I am getting SP equal to my WP + 50%.
My understanding (also "confirmed" on IRC by other players) is that Active Boosters raise the weekly cap by 50% as well as give you 50% extra active SP.
An explanation on Boosters, gladly in the form of the algorithm used, will be appreciated.
Note: I am testing this while also having a Passive Booster running. Cannot confirm/deny whether this is affecting the results, but my expectations would be that it shouldn't. |

If you started playing, at all, before activating the booster you lose the SP bonus for that SP gained.
The entire time the Active Booster from when it was started until it expires all SP is boosted to 150%.
Either you started the booster later after the reset and are not getting its full benefit or you have Not Enabled the booster. If you purchased it but failed to enable it that would match your current situation. If so, Do Not Enable It Until The Next Reset otherwise you will only gain for for SP Capped battles (maximum of 1000, boosted to 1500). Based on the above, I'd summize there are 3 SP types:
- Passive SP - gained continually, 2 SP/second
- Active SP - Gained from battles, 190.400 SP/week
- Bonus SP - Gained from Active Booster, equals 50% of Active SP
If nothing changes the Active SP cap, then, as KalOfTheRathi says, we should avoid engaging in battles until activating our boosters - conversely, we should avoid boosters, if we've already earnt SP that week.

If it is the 30 day version then enabling it will actually not be a bad thing to do. For all the others you might want to think about when the best time to activate them based on your playing time and the SP Cap Reset. One Day - due to lack of clarity surrounding their behaviour, I did not wish to spend any more AUR than absolutely required to test them. |
